MOHAMED EL SAWY
Mohamed El Sawy is a Social Activist, Politician and a business
entrepreneur who decided early on, before Corporate Social
Responsibility became a fad in Egypt, to serve his community. As a
co-founder and owner of Alamia Group Egypt, a bench mark in the
fields of Advertising, El Sawy organized, long before establishing the
Culture Wheel, comprehensive sports and cultural events for
children and youth through his agency with the aim of spreading
sports and culture among youth. Currently, after he was assigned as
the first Minister of Culture after the revolution to decline, he had
been elected as a member of the First Egyptian Parliament after the
25th of January Revolution, where he was re-elected internally to be
the Head of the Chamber of Culture, Tourism and Media in the
Egyptian Parliament. Mohamed, was also Elected one of the 100
Members of the Constitutional Formulation Committee to design,
create and write down the first Egyptian free democratic constitution after the Revolution.
Mohamed el Sawy es un Activista Social, político y empresario que tempranamente, mucho antes
que la responsabilidad social se masificara en Egipto, decidió servir su a su comunidad. Como cofundador y dueño de Alamia Group Egypt, punto de referencia en el campo de la publicidad, El
Sawy organizó, mucho antes de crear The Culture Wheel, deportes globales y eventos culturales
para niños y jóvenes a través de su agencia con el objetivo de contribuir a la difusión de los
deportes y la cultura entre los jóvenes. Recientemente, después de haber sido elegido primer
ministro de cultura y haber declinado del cargo, fue elegido como miembro del primer parlamento
egipcio después de la Revolución del 25 de Enero, donde fue reelegido internamente como jefe
de la cámara de Cultura, Turismo y Medios de Comunicación en el Parlamento egipcio. Además
Mohamed, fue elegido uno de los 100 miembros del Comité de Formulación Constitucional para
diseñar, crear y escribir la primera constitución democrática libre de Egipto, después de la
revolución.
