At the end of the course unit the learner is expected to be able to:
1. - Learn about the grassroots different materials, techniques, media and tools and their properties and apply them properly.
2. - Be sensitive to visual values and visual messages in a non-stereotyped.
3. - Understand the painting as an integrated process of comprehension, expressive communication and construction of reality.

Teaching and learning methods
This program of the 2nd year Course of Painting in the Art & Design graduate's priority is to develop aesthetic sensitivity, creativity and technical skills and manuals.
Secondarily perception, communication skills, critical sense and response.
Assessment methods
1. FINAL SEASON (Alternative 1) - (Regular, Student Worker) (Final)
- Practical Work - 50%
- Reports and Guides - 20%
- Intermediate Written Test - 30%
2. SEASONS OF REMEDIES AND SPECIAL (Alternative 2) - (Regular, Student Worker) (Supplementary, Special)
- Final Written Exam - 40%
- Practical Work - 60% (No work will be undertaken práticos. 60% corresponds to the marks obtained in Final Period.)
