Dear Partners,
Please let us remind you of the Application procedure for 2010/11 Erasmus Students coming to the
University of Salamanca:
We would be grateful if you could also provide us (to the email [email protected]) with
information about your application procedures, academic calendar, courses, accommodation,
etc. if you have not done so yet.
Nomination and Application Deadlines:

• July 16 (whether for the Winter Term, Summer Term or full academic year 2010/11).
Exceptionally, we could accept later nominations for 2nd semester students.
Nomination:
Details of nominated students to be emailed as soon as possible to [email protected]. The email
must necessarily include:
1.
Full name of the student/s
2.
Email address
3.
Subject Area
4.
Study Period in Salamanca
Application:
Nominated students should complete the on-line Erasmus Application Form, print it and send it by
post, together with two photographs, to this Office of International Relations. This document is a
NECESSARY REQUIREMENT for the enrolment of Eramus students at the University of Salamanca.
Iinstructions on completion must be carefully followed, as we won't accept incomplete forms or
photographs not meeting the required characteristics

The Learning Agreement can be arranged with the Erasmus Departmental Coordinator after the
student’s arrival in Salamanca.
Confirmation of Acceptation:
An Acceptance Letter will be sent from June 15th onwards, following the correct reception of the
Application Form and photographs. Students must bring along this Acceptance Letter when registering
at the corresponding Faculty in Salamanca.

2010/11 Academic Guides will be made available on our web site in May. In the meantime, 2009/10
Guides can prove useful with regards to relevant information about subjects, subject programmes,

Language of instruction / Spanish Language Courses:
The language of instruction at our institution is Spanish. Students must have sufficient Spanish skills
before coming in order to be able follow the lectures.
The University of Salamanca offers, at the beginning of each semester (September, October and

nd
November for the 1 semester and March for the 2 semester), a Spanish intensive course to all
Erasmus students who wish to take it. Students must pay 150€ for the course materials and linguistic
consulting service.
Interested students must indicate it by marking the correponding box on the on-line Erasmus
Application Form.
A more detailed information about this course will be available on our website in May.
