Be Part of an Amazing Transformation!!!
St. Anne Church and School have found a dynamic
way to vividly spread our most up-to-date news to
current families, as well as, capture the attention
of the overall community!
Whether the
information is important parish news or the
school’s latest and greatest updates, we will be
empowered to better communicate to all in the
form of an electronic sign that will replace our
current traditional marquee sign.
An electronic sign has been proven time and time
again as a successful outreach tool for
existing families and potential visitors. We have
begun the process by interviewing possible vendors
from which to purchase this sign.
St. Anne is seeking support by way of donations
from our loving families to help bring this
communication platform to our community.
Please join us in making this dream a reality.
Donations can be made through your company or
on an individual basis. Remember, it is a tax
deduction on your part, as well as, a huge benefit
for your church and school. We have witnessed
other neighboring parishes who have added these
signs and the response have been overwhelming
and positive!
Please contact Daisy O’Halloran in the church
office at 281-351-8106 Ext. 154
or [email protected] for more
information so we can add you or your company to
our list of charitable sponsors who are on board,
ready and willing to help us outreach to all…our
mission for others to witness us as we are…a
loving, inviting community!

“Adult Faith Formation”
Calling All Adult Parishioners!!
We are looking to formulate some programs for the
Adults from our Parish, however without “YOUR”
input it will be a Challenge.
Do you ever wonder why we make the sign of the
Cross when we enter church and use Holy water??
Or do you ever wonder when is it proper to
genuflect and when you should bow when you are
entering your Pew???
These are some of the questions that can be
answered during an Adult Faith Formation Class.
I am diligently trying to put something in place for
you all that will help you learn more about our
Faith, and how to go out and evangelize others
toward our faith.
If you would like us to hear your input of ideas that
you would like us to bring to the parish, please feel
free to contact me via email.
<<<<<<<My info is in the column to the left.
We have begun our RCIA classes and are in need of
catechists. What a better way to learn more about
our Faith than to be a part of this fantastic
Ministry
I promise you the rewards are huge.

ADORATION
AWARENESS
Dear Parishioners:
Thanks for your kind attention before
the Masses last weekend, as I
attempted to give you a little more
information about the Broadway
Highlights coming up. The show starts
to really feel like a production once the blocking
begins. We’re on our way in this regard. The
Steinbachs really had a chance to shine this past
Monday evening, and the children learned quickly.
Please tell all of your friends about our event. We
want to have a near full if not full audience on October
16 at 7 p.m.
I am happy to be training a new singer who will both
cantor, participate in the show, and join the 10 a.m.
choir in the near future. Join me in welcoming Kevin
Cole to our music ministry. Kevin also plays violin
and viola.
I am also pleased to announce that professional tenor,
Angelo Ferrari, is coming to the music room on
Saturdays to teach private voice. If you or your
children are looking for a classically trained and
professionally active teacher, I highly recommend
Angelo. Angelo is originally from Milan but now calls
Houston his home. Nevertheless, he returns to Europe
frequently for solo engagements. It is a blessing to
have someone of his ability who is willing to teach
within our community.
His schedule is full from 12:30-4:00. He can commit
two more hours to us, so for those who may be
interested in studying with him, do not hesitate to
contact me on his behalf at [email protected].
The Couples for Christ Choir—Filipino group—lifted
our hearts last weekend. I wish to thank all of them
and their leaders, Mike, Melo and Taj for always being
prepared and for thoughtfully selecting music for the
Vigil Mass in which they serve.
Every 4th Saturday the Doyle Sisters, Mackensey and
Erin, will be with us. Their music teacher (my friend
as well as colleague) will join them, and in all
likelihood the new religion teacher, Mr. Rousseau, will
be there as well.
Blessings to all!
“SO YOU COULD NOT KEEP WATCH WITH ME FOR ONE HOUR?" – MATTHEW 26:40
"Do you want the Lord to give you
many graces? Visit Him often. Do you want Him to
give you few graces? Visit Him rarely. Do you want
the devil to attack you? Visit Jesus rarely in the
Blessed Sacrament. Do you want him to flee from
you? Visit Jesus often!"
"I beg you to recommend to everyone, first, adoration
of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and then reverence
for most holy Mary."
"There are two things the devil is deadly afraid of:
fervent Communions and frequent visits to the
Blessed Sacrament."
Saint John Bosco
We are in need of more adorers. Please consider
spending some quiet time with our Lord in adoration.
To sign up for adoration, please call Kathryn Dawson

The sick and hospitalized are to be held in thought and prayer. For

way we can help and support them.
Please remember names for the sick list in the bulletin have to be
called in to the Parish Office by the person who is ill or by a
member of their family. At the time they call in the name, they will
be asked whether they are the sick person him/herself, or a
member of their family and if they give permission for the name to
be placed on the list. They will be asked for the correct spelling of
the sick person’s name. If a family member, they will be required
to give their name for our records. The name will be in the bulletin
for four weeks.

St. Anne Church and Interfaith Care Partners. The gathering
is held in the parish hall, and a professional staff member
from Interfaith attends each Gathering Place.
The Gathering Place is in great need of volunteers to assist in
activities such as crafts, physical movement, socialization,
music and other engaging activities. Team members are also
needed to assist with simple decorations, lunch preparation,
invitations, phone calls and photography. It is not necessary
for a team member to provide skilled medical care. We are
especially in need of men volunteers, but ALL volunteers are
welcome.
A five to seven hour commitment per month is all you need to
serve in this amazing ministry. Please prayerfully consider
getting involved. For more information, please call Janet
