All parishioners are invited to Our First Annual Harvest Festival is Sunday, October 4th. The event begins at 10:00 am. We
feature games and activities for children, a food festival and Chili Cook-off, and a raffle with a grand prize of a 55" color tv.
We are already halfway through the first trimester. Next week we have Parent Teacher Conferences with minimum day
dismissal Monday through Friday.
Fall Harvest Festival
Please join us next Sunday, October 4, 2015 for our 1st St. Charles Borromeo Fall Harvest Festival, 10am-4pm
on the school grounds. There will be food, games, music, and activities for the whole family. Come taste and
vote for your favorite chili in our Chili-Cookoff. Enter to win a 55" HDTV in our big raffle! For more

least a week in advance or two weeks in advance if you want your request included in the weekly bulletin.

Joyful: Leading Like Pope Francis
High School Youth are invited to join us for a weekend retreat Friday, October 16th – Sunday, October 18th led by Dr. Ansel
Augustine where they will have time to pray, build community with other High School teens in leadership, and practice skills of
Christian Leadership. As Pope Francis demonstrates The Joy of the Gospel with his own leadership style, high school teens will
enjoy this retreat which focuses on joyful leadership and the necessary tools to lead with compassion, service, intention and

Divine Mercy Conference

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) Program 2015/2016
Are you interested in becoming Catholic? Were you baptized as a Catholic, but have not received the sacraments of
initiation? (First Holy Communion & Confirmation) Are you non-Catholic but thinking about joining our Catholic
Christian Community? Perhaps you have never been baptized and are seeking to join a faith community. Maybe you just
want to learn more about the Catholic Faith. Our inquiry sessions will start Tuesday, September 29 at 7:30 pm in the RCIA
Office located in the Adoration Chapel Building. If you are interested, please register by calling Daria Young at 669-8774.
Priesthood Sunday—Día del Sacerdocio
Priesthood Sunday will be on October 25, 2015. This is a great opportunity to be thankful for the vocation to the

40 Days for Life Campaign of prayer - September 23 to
November 1
Catholics throughout the Diocese of Sacramento will join with
people of faith across the nation for the ecumenical campaign
called “40 Days for Life.” It is held in Sacramento and other
areas of the diocese, where participants will aim to end
abortion through prayer, fasting, community outreach and
peaceful vigils. The life-saving, peaceful and prayerful
ministry is endorsed by Bishop Jaime Soto.
The vigil in the Sacramento area - the public sidewalk in front
of the Women’s Health Specialist, 1442 Ethan Way (free
parking on Hallmark Drive, near Arden Mall and Cal Expo),
from 7 am to 7pm. For information about the 40 Days for

Father - Son Programs—Programas de Padre-Hijo
The Father-Son programs explore God’s special gift of human
fertility and the beauty and wonder of God’s plan for growing up
and becoming a man. The programs will be offered for boys ages
12 to 15 and their dads on October 17 (Roseville), and February 27
(Sacramento). The total cost is $20 per family and includes lunch.

St. Rose Parish Annual Fall Festival
You are invited to our 59th Annual Fall Festival which is on
