First Saturday’s Devotion
Join the First Saturday’s Devotion on November 1. Devotion will begin with
attendance at the 8:30 a.m. Mass followed by recitation of the Joyful Mysteries of the
Rosary, and then spending 15 minutes meditating on the Mysteries of the Rosary. By
fulfilling First Saturdays for 5 consecutive months, Our Blessed Mother promises to assist
at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation.

Participate in Sacrament of Reconciliation each month, either on that First Saturday, or
up to 8 days before or after the First Saturday of the Month. Confession made with the
intention of making Reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Attend Mass and receive Holy Communion.
·
Recite the Rosary.
·
Keep The Blessed Mother company for 15 minutes in church, while meditating on the
Mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of

“SISTER ACT”
The next Women's Guild event will be an evening
meeting on Monday, November 3, at 7:00 p.m. in
the Parish Hall.
A hilarious uproaring comic act is planned for this
meeting It is styled after the well known movie the
"Sister Act". Come join the women of the parish to
meet new friends enjoy the show and the
refreshments.
The Women of the Guild will also prepare
Christmas cards to be given to the detainees
presently at The Juvenile Detention Center.

GRIEF & LOSS
SUPPORT GROUP
St. Ignatius will continue its grief and loss support
group with the next meeting on Tuesday, October
28th at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall, Room H. The
purpose of the group is to offer support to persons
who are experiencing symptoms of grief due to a
recent loss. The group is open to all men and women
and is Catholic-based. If you have any questions,

Children’s choir begins this week

Wednesdays. All children grades two through

Adult Choir rehearses on Wednesdays from
7:00 pm to 8:30 pm in the Cathedral. Come
and be a part of the prayer life of our parish by
giving of time and talent through the gift of
sacred song!
Children’s Liturgy of the Word
We are in need of 5-6 volunteers to take one
Mass a month to help us bring the Gospel to
the young children of our parish. Format is
simple and commitment is one

Little Flowers Girls' Club® is a Catholic program

virtues through the lives of Catholic saints, Scripture
and the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Group

La Iglesia ha dedicado un mes, el de Octubre, para
honrar a María con el rezo del Santo Rosario
A lo largo de la historia se ha visto como el rezo del Santo Rosario pone al
demonio fuera de la ruta del hombre y de la Iglesia, llena de bendiciones a
quienes lo rezan con devoción. El Rosario es una verdadera fuente de
gracias. María es medianera de las gracias de Dios. Dios ha querido que
muchas gracias nos lleguen por su conducto, ya que fue por ella que nos
llegó la salvación.
Todo cristiano puede rezar el Rosario: es una oración muy completa, ya
que requiere del empleo simultáneo de tres potencias de la persona: física,
vocal y espiritual. Las cuentas favorecen la concentración de la mente.
Rezar el Rosario es como llevar diez flores a María en cada misterio. Es
una manera de repetirle muchas veces lo mucho que la queremos. El amor
y la piedad no se cansan nunca de repetir con frecuencia las mismas
palabras, porque siempre contienen algo nuevo. Si lo rezamos todos los
días, la Virgen nos llenará de gracias y nos ayudará a llegar al Cielo.
María intercede por nosotros sus hijos y no nos deja de premiar con su
ayuda. Al rezarlo, recordamos con la mente y el corazón los misterios de
la vida de Jesús y los misterios de la conducta admirable de María: los
gozosos, los dolorosos, los luminosos y los gloriosos. Nos metemos en las
escenas evangélicas: Belén, Nazaret, Jerusalén, el huerto de los Olivos, el
Calvario, María al pie de la cruz, Cristo resucitado, el Cielo, todo esto pasa
por nuestra mente mientras nuestros labios oran.

blancos de inscripción y en la mesa de
bienvenida.
Con gran alegría invitamos a toda la comunidad a participar de la
serie documental “Catolicismo” del Padre Robert Barron, en
español, la cual inició el viernes 12 de septiembre 2014, en la
capilla, a las 7:30 pm.

talleres simultáneamente en inglés y español de 9 am a

of Arc en Boca Ratón; 15 de noviembre en St Patrick en
PBG y el 6 de diciembre en St Bernadette en St Lucie.
