Generous and loving God, you call us to be disciples of your son Jesus and good stewards of all your many gifts. Open our minds and hearts to a greater awareness and deeper appreciation of your countless blessings. Transform us through the power of your Spirit to nurture a stewardship way of life marked by faith-filled prayer, service to our neighbor and generous sharing. Teach us to be faithful servants of your gifts. With Mary’s help, may we return ten-fold the gifts entrusted to us. We pray through Christ, our Lord. Confirmation Preparation is a two-year process, and here at Saint Joseph we prepare in the 8th and 9th grades, with the ceremony being held in the Fall of 10th grade. If you haven’t already done so, please register your teen soon, so you can get on the mailing list and know when parent meetings and classes are held. We can also help with teens that may have missed preparation in these grades. You can find PSR/Edge/Life Teen Registration forms in the Narthex or on the website. Life Teen It’s not too late to register your teens for the 2015-16 Life Teen Program. ALL high school teens are invited! It is a common myth that Life Teen is only for those getting Confirmed, but the fact is that older teens benefit significantly from Life Teen as they begin to ask the really tough questions in life. Volunteers Needed! LifeTeen is working on the Living Stations of the Cross for Lent 2016. We need some volunteers to work on the costumes. We will be going with full time period costumes this year. If you would like to help out, please contact Marla Jones at [email protected].
