Volume Down button - During an active call, press to decrease the volume on the earpiece - When not in call, press to decrease the ringer volume - Whilst watching videos or listening to the FM radio, press to decrease the volume. Home Button (Middle Button) - Touch to go back to the Home Screen. Back Button ( ) - Tap to revert to the previous screen or to go back to the Home Screen. Options Button ( ) - Select this to open options menu for the current screen. 1 EN INSTALLING THE BATTERY Remove the back cover You need to remove the back cover to access the battery compartment, SIM card slot, and Memory card slot. With the phone turned off, hold your phone securely with the front facing down. With your thumb or finger, lift up the bottom of the back cover from the small opening near the bottom of the phone. Inserting the battery 1. Insert the top contacts side of the battery first and then gently push the battery into place. 2. Always ensure that the handset is Powered OFF before removing the battery Replace the back cover 1. Secure the top part of the back cover first by aligning into the openings located at the top part of the back of the phone. 2. Press the sides and the bottom part of the back cover down to lock the cover into place. You will hear a click when the back cover is locked in place. Removing the battery 1. Remove the back cover. 2. Lift out the battery from the opening space on the bottom part of the battery. CHARGING THE BATTERY There are 2 methods for charging the battery. Charging the battery with the Power Adaptor and USB data cable 1. Install the battery correctly into the phone. 2. Connect one end of the data cable into the charger jack on the phone. 3. Attach the other end to the Power adaptor. 4. Connect the charger to a standard AC wall outlet. 5. When charging is complete, unplug the charger from the AC wall outlet and disconnect the cables from the phone. Charging the battery using a computer with the USB data cable 1. Connect the micro-USB end of the data cable into the charging jack on the phone. 2. Attach the USB-end of the data cable to the USB port on the computer. 3. When charging is complete, disconnect the cables from the handset and computer. If the phone is powered ON when the battery is being charged, a charging icon appears in 2 EN the Notification Bar of the Home Screen. When the battery has fully charged, a full battery icon will appear. INSERTING SIM AND MEMORY CARD Installing the SIM Card 1. Remove the back cover. 2. Remove the battery. 3. Keep the SIM card with the cut edge on the right-bottom side, in your hand. 4. Insert into the SIM holder with the cut edge on the right-bottom side and gold contacts facing down. 5. Push the SIM card all the way in. Removing the SIM card 1. Remove the back cover. 2. Remove the battery. 3. Grab the edge and then slide the SIM card out. Inserting the Memory card (microSD) 1. Remove the back cover. 2. Remove the battery. 3. Insert the micro SD card into the slot with its gold contacts facing down and push it in until it clicks into place. Removing the Memory card (microSD) 1. Remove the back cover. 2. Remove the battery. 3. Pull the memory card from the holder. USING YOUR PHONE Powering ON your Phone 1. Insert your SIM card. 2. Press the Power ON/OFF button for 5 seconds. 3. Your phone will load and startup. 4. Most SIM cards are pre-set with a PIN code that is provided by your mobile operator. When prompted, enter the PIN code. 5. If you enter the wrong PIN three times, the SIM card will be blocked. Please contact your network operator for a PUK code (PIN Unblocking Key) 3 EN Powering OFF If you do not need to use your phone, you can turn the power OFF to save battery life. 1. Lock and unlocking the screen You can lock the touch screen and the buttons to prevent accidental operation. 1. When the phone is powered ON, press the Power button to lock the screen. 2. Home Screen Interface You can add or remove shortcuts in your Home Screen. Touch and drag the Application icon and place it where you require it on the screen. You can drag and drop to move or delete an 4 EN icon on the Home Screen Interface. Making a call When the icon of network service provider appears on the notification bare, you can make or answer a call. The bars at the upper right corner of screen indicate the intensity of network signal. 1. On the home screen, press the Handset Icon 2. Dial the phone number by using the touch buttons on the screen. 3. Press the Handset Icon to establish the call 4. Press End Call when finished. Using the Notification Bar From the Notification Bar, you can access information of the calendar events, new messages, new SMS and on-going activities, such as incoming calls or status of the current call. You can also open the Notification Panel to view the network operator or open the message, warning or activities. When a new Notification icon is displayed, touch the Notification Bar on the top of the screen and drag your finger downwards to open the Notice Board. Once in the Notice Board, you can open Notifications with its associated applications or delete all notifications. المس الزر ،االيقونة او التطبيق الختيار العنصر او لفتح التطبيقات. - المس واضغط على العنصر للوصول الى االختيارت المتاحة. - مرر اصبعك عبر الشاشة للتمرير العلى واسفل او للشمال واليمين. - المس واسحب العنصر لتحريكة او النجاز عمليات أخرى. يمكنك ايضا تحويل شاشة التليفون ( مثل ادخال النص ،شاشة الصور) من الوضع الرأسى الى االفقى بإمالة التليفون ووضعة متجه العلى اوعلى جانبه. قفل وفتح الشاشة يمكن اقفال شاشة اللمس والمفايتح لمنع العمليات بالخظأ. 30 العربية -1عندما يكون التليفون فى وضع التشغيل اضغط على مفتاح التشغيل لقفل الشاشة. -2الشاشة تقفل تلقائيا ايضا بعد مده من عدم االستخدام. يمكنك االستمرار فى تلقى رسائل ومكالمات اثناء قفل الشاشة. اضغط مفتاح التشغيل العادة تنشيط الشاشة ثم افتح القفل باتباع التعليمات المرئية. الكود السرى للحماية: اذا كانت شريحة االتصال بها كود سرى مجهز من قبل ،سيتم طلب ادخال كود عند وضعها فى التليفون فى لبداية . الكود السرى يمكن ان يتم امدادك به عن طريق شبكة اتصاالت المحمول مع شريحة االتصال. واذا فقدت الكود السرى ،رجاء االتصال بشبكة اتصاالت المحمول لمزيد من المعلومات. واجهة الشاشة الرئيسية يمكنك اضافة او ازالة االيقونة المختصرة الى الشاشة الرئيسية .المس واسحب التطبيق وضعه فى المكان المختار على الشاشة. ويمكنك السحب واالسقاط فى السلة لتحريك او الغاء االيقونه من واجهة الشاشة الرئيسية. اجراء مكالمة عند ظهور عالمة خدمة شبكة االتصاالت فى خانة المالحظات العلوية ،يمكنك اجراء او االجابة على المكالمات .والخانة يمين اعلى الشاشة تظهر كثافة اشارة الشبكة. .12 اضغط ايقونة التليفون من على الشاشة الرئيسية. .13 اتصل برقم التليفون باستخدام ازرار اللمس على الشاشة. .14 اضغط ايقونة التليفون لالتصال. .15 اضغط انهاء المكالمة عن االنتهاء. استخدام خانة المالحظات: من خانة المالحظات ،يمكنك الوصول الى معلومات التقويم ،الرسائل ،حركة الرسائل الجديدة والحالية ،المكالمات الواردة او حالة المكالمة الحالية. يمكنك ايضا فتح نافذة لمشاهدة شبكة االتصال او حركة الرسائل اوالتحذيرات. عند ظهور ايقونة مالحظة جديدة ،المس خانة المالحظات فى اعلى الشاشة واسحب باصبعك الى اسفل لفتح نافذة المالحظات. 31 العربية فى نافذة المالحظات ،يمكنك فتح المالحظة والتطببيق المرتبط بها او امسح جميع المالحظات. لغلق نافذة المالحظات المس واستمر فى الضغط على زر نافذة المالحظات واسحب اصبعك العلى. لمزيد من المعلومات عن كيفية استخدام تليفونك ،برجاء قراءة كتيب المستخدم. يمكنك ايجاد مزيد من المعلومات بزيارة موقعنا: www.connectphone.co.uk 32
