Our Lady appeared at Fatima to three young seers with a message of warning and hope for humanity. If the world did not convert, the Blessed Mother said there would be much suffering, famines and wars. To avert such disasters, Our Lady asked for prayer, penance and other measures. She also promised that: “Finally, my Immaculate Heart will triumph.” The Message of Our Lady of Fatima is still timely for us today. There are many problems in our country and throughout the world that will only be solved with prayer. Join the 2016 Public Square Rosary Crusade next month, in our parish! The proceeds of this campaign will go toward the purchase of an ultrasound machine for one of the pregnancy clinics in the area. The money raised will also help pregnant mothers pay for doctor visits and basic necessities for their babies. Season V will take us on a journey that shows us what it means to be the “Good News” and help us discover how we can be the “Good News” for other people. This is a great way to meet new people, reflect on scripture, and spiritually prepare for Advent and the joy of the Christmas season. Facilitators are currently contacting their respective small faith group and preparing for this final season. The ARISE Seasons are always open to those who would like to join one of the groups.
