Hopper Accreditations: FIPF ARPS AFIAP Joined DPS In: 2000 DPS Club Level: Senior Overview: I’ve had an interest in photography ever since I could borrow my Dad’s camera and head off taking pictures. My photography has evolved through being a member of Ireland’s leading club and to this day I can say that I still enjoy my photography. On a National level I have served as National Distinctions Secretary, Print & Projected Image CoOrdinator and currently serve on council with The Irish Photographic Federation. On a club level I have served as Secretary and Chairman – both positions I considered as an honour to serve in. Achievements to Date on Flickr at (In Reverse Chronological Order): 2010 My most successful year to date. Having won Image of The Year – “The Kitchen” , I proceeded to amass a total of 188 acceptances with 25 awards in National and International Salons this year alone. I was awarded my first FIAP Gold Medal in The Edinburgh Photographic Society’s 148th International Exhibition of Pictoral Photography. I was part of Dundalk Photographic Society’s team which was awarded the 5th FIAP Clubs World Cup. Runner-up in Photographer of the Year – DPS I was awarded my AFIAP in February. 2007 Runner-up in Photographer of the Year – DPS (with Monochrome Print title). 2006 Photographer of the Year – DPS (with Monochrome & Colour Print titles). 2005 Image of The Year – DPS – “Robert Armstrong”. Third place in Photographer of the Year – DPS (with Colour Print title). Achieved my Associateship of The Irish Photographic Federation 2004 Photographer of the Year – DPS (with Colour Print title). 2003 Achieved my Licentiate of The Irish Photographic Federation Page 2 of 2
