Newsletters and lunch menus are now posted every month on our website www.cscinc.org Our Egypt study has come to an end. The kids loved it! They enjoyed building pyramids, making papyrus, writing in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics, learning about crocodiles living in the Nile River, and listening to interesting facts about camels. We have now moved on to a study about Insects and Arachnids. They have been using new vocabulary such as Arachnid, exoskeleton, and abdomen. They have enjoyed exploring books about insects, looking at insect and arachnid x-rays, and creating art projects related to our study. Since the weather is much more enjoyable, we will be spending more time outside. We will go outside for an hour a day as long as the temperature is below 90 degrees and not raining. Please dress your child appropriately. Sneakers are the safest footwear while playing outside and on the outdoor equipment. Please switch out your child’s emergency clothing if you haven’t done so already. There are still children who’s extra clothing is either too small or for the wrong season. Pictured to the left is our class trip to the Baum School of Art.
