Doble cruce en Tarifa con acento británico

Los británicos, ayer en Tarifa.
El inglés Robert Drysdale, de 50 años, y el irlandés Donald Perrot, de 45, unieron
sus nombres ayer a la nómina de ilustres que consiguen cruzar a nado las aguas
del Estrecho de Gibraltar.
La dupla completó la travesía desde la Isla Tarifa hasta Punta el Vaar (18,6
kilómetros) en 4 horas y 55 minutos. Los nadadores estuvieron escoltados por las
embarcaciones de la ACNEG Columba One y Duende del Mar, que velaron en todo
momento por ellos. La única dificultad la puso el viento de Poniente que en la
zona marroquí del Estrecho sopló con alguna intensidad a partir del mediodía.

English Translation:
Double crossing for British
The Englishman Robert Drysdale, 50, and Irish Donald Perrot, 45, yesterday
added their names to the roster of the illustrious by swimming across the Strait of
Gibraltar.
The pair completed the journey from Punta Tarifa Island to El Vaar (18.6 miles) in
4 hours and 55 minutes. The swimmers were escorted by ships of the ACNEG
Columba One and Duende del Mar, who watched them at all times. The main
difficulty was the west wind in the Moroccan Strait area which blew with some
intensity from midday.
