The very term Prodigal Son instantly reminds us that God is a loving Father— always welcoming and ready to forgive. But there is an “older brother” in all of us that fails to understand mercy, and that would rather see an offender rejected. That, as this Gospel teaches, is simply not the way the Father acts. Pray Together Plan a simple forgiveness service for the family. Let each person in the family mention one thing for which he or she wants to ask forgiveness. End the service by saying the Our Father together. Source: Pflaum Publishing Group. This year when you prepare to come to Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord's Supper (March 24th), we ask you to bring items for the homeless. We suggest that you take a quart-size Ziploc freezer bag and place the following (travel size) items in it: Toothpaste, Mouthwash, Small Soap, Shampoo, Lotion, Comb, Toothbrush. (Socks may be given separately.) Los siguientes artículos deben venir en bolsas Ziploc: Pasta de dientes, Enjuague Bucal, Jabón, Champú, Crema de manos, Peine, Cepillo de dientes You will be invited to place your gift for the poor in a large basket at the Offertory of the Mass.
