RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Statistical and Measurement Specialist. - College Entrance Examination Board. November
2006 to Present.
Perform statistical analyses and conduct studies for various clients. In charge of the analysis
and reporting of the evaluation phase of the Interamerican University’s general education
program. Also in charge of the preparation of the annual institutional profile report and
various other reports for clients in Puerto Rico and Latin America.
Consultant to the Interamerican University Board of Trustees – 2010 to present.
Provide guidance, develop procedures and assessments for the evaluation of the institutions
President. Also redesigned the format used for the yearly strategic plan of the University so
that it provides standardized and objective assessment criteria in order to make it easy to
identify of goals and objectives are being met.
Chief Psychometrician – Didaxis. April 2009 to present.
In charge of the execution of the psychometric analyses required for the Puerto Rico Board of
Nurses, as well as the preparation of reports. Other duties include the establishment of
technical procedures, performance of quality control and preparation of reports.
Research and Statistical Consultant. January 1991 to present. Private practice.
Orientations regarding research designs, statistical procedures, data collection and program
evaluation methods to agencies, companies and doctoral students for their dissertations as well
as provide the required statistical analyses. Have served as consultant and statistician to over
200 studies. Some clients have been the Carlos Albizu University, the Puerto Rico
Orthopedics Association, the Interamerican University and the US Air Force.
Research and Statistical Consultant - Administration of Corrections. November 1997 to
November 1998.
In charge of the translation, standardization and normalization of the Level of Service
Inventory and the evaluation of an inmate service program.
Research and Statistical Consultant - Puerto Rico Department of Health. January 1995 to
1998.
Research advisor for an adolescent program under the Mother Child Health Division. Duties
included: planning and execution of the evaluation phase of the program and the preparation of
outcome and process evaluation documents and reports; creation of assessment instruments on
risk behaviors; production of written material for workshops; and the analysis and
interpretation of statistical data gathered from various sources. Supervision of all field
personnel was also a major responsibility.
Test Assembler - College Entrance Examination Board. October 1994 to July 1995.
Test assembly of multiple forms for a national project on the development, standardization and
normalization of academic achievement tests for grades 1 through 9 (SENDA). Other duties
included the preparation of instruction manuals for teachers and editing of material prior to
final production.
Research and Statistical Consultant - PsychoMed Research and Consultant Group.
February 1993 to July 1994.

Completed a national study on correctional health services using a sample from all the
correctional facilities on the island. Implemented a computerized information system currently
in use on all projects. Selecting and implementing research designs, coordinate and supervise
all phases of the project and the personnel involved, design and maintain information systems,
perform statistical analyses and write the final reports.
CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
Private Practitioner - January 1997 to present.
Provide psychological services, primarily psychological evaluations, for insurance companies
in the determination of mental disability, for the courts in child custody cases, competency
matters and mental injury, for individuals and other psychologist in treatment planning and as
part of career selection and orientation. Also provide consultations for lawyers in the
preparation of direct and cross-examination of expert witnesses and served as expert witness
myself on proper evaluation procedures.
Clinical psychologist – Proyecto NACER.
Performed psychological evaluations to potential students in order to identify strengths and
areas of development to provide the best academic program for them.
Clinical Psychologist - State General Psychiatric Hospital. August 1992 to July 1993.
Psychological evaluation and treatment of aggressive patients in an acute phase of their illness.
Took part in weekly consultation meeting and case presentations in the Psychology
Department. Initiated efforts to change hospital policy in order to safeguard patient’s rights to
confidentiality, which resulted in modifications to the admissions procedures. Supervised
students in their rotation through the ward.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Associate Professor - Carlos Albizu University. January 1992 to present.
In campus and graduate level courses in Forensic Assessment, Psychological Assessment
Tests (Rorschach, MMPI-2), Statistics, Test Construction, Research, statistical computer
programs (SPSS) and Advanced Research Seminars. Director of the Exam Committee in
charge of the preparation and scoring of all the comprehensive and qualifying tests. Also
coordinate the testing phase and evaluation of the test results and manage the item bank.
Provide academic counseling to over 30 students each semester. Develop and offer distance
courses using the Blackboard Platform.
Assistant Professor – University of Puerto Rico at Carolina. January 2004 to November
2006.
Baccalaureate level courses in Forensic Psychology, Statistics, Statistical computer programs
