Círculo Fortuny supports Spanish fashion
Círculo Fortuny supports Spanish fashion Delpozo,
prêt-à-couture fashion brand celebrated internationally for its combination of contrasting elements, joins the Association to
consolidate Spanish couture representation in high-end cultural and creative industries sector.
Hackett London, Loewe, Lorenzo Caprile, Louis Vuitton and Navascués complete fashion sector brands in Círculo Fortuny December 2015 In the year 1974, the designer Jesus del Pozo founded the eponymous fashion house. In 2012 the Perfumes y Diseño Group took over the company after the death of the designer and transformed it into the international luxury fashion brand Delpozo under the creative direction of Josep Font. Delpozo embraces time-‐honoured couture techniques with a modern sensibility to create unique and feminine pieces for the contemporary woman. The hallmarks of the Delpozo atelier include a creative approach to volume, colour, and silhouette. A combination of contrasting elements defines the prêt-‐à-‐
couture house: Delpozo is traditional and modern, organic and architectural, sumptuous and pure. The highest expression of creativity for Delpozo in the art of fashion is the treatment of volume based on architectural structures, the selection of the highest quality fabrics and the most exquisite hand-‐crafted embroidery using techniques of Haute Couture and from the best schools of craftwork in the world to create the ethereal and timeless Delpozo aesthetic. Each of Delpozo’s designs reflects the three firm values: redefined quality: a belief that unseen details should be as refined as the collections themselves; timeless sensibility: a commitment to creating product that stands the test of time and a modern aesthetic rooted in traditional haute couture techniques. Through the inception of Jesús del Pozo Foundation in 2003, Delpozo is committed to training and has supported more than 80 students to complete their first professional experience. Every year fifteen students have the opportunity to receive professional training with one of the great Spanish fashion brands.
