Catholic Community Services (CCS) and Catholic Housing Services of Western Washington is your Catholic Charities
Agency in Western Washington serving people of all faith communities. We offer an array of programs and services in our
community. The programs and services listed below are just a few of the ways that we provide assistance and support to

SHELTERS AND HOMELESS SERVICES

Provides families and individuals with a hot meal in a safe,
welcoming environment six days a week. Teams of community
volunteers prepare and serve the mostly donated food.
HOME CARE FOR ELDERS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

CCS provides affordable non-medical assistance to seniors and
people with disabilities living in their own homes. Training for
caregivers is provided in multiple languages including English,
Spanish, Vietnamese, Somali, Russian, Cantonese and Korean.
THE GRAYS HARBOR YOUTH CENTER

Provides homeless teenage youth, ages 13–17, with safe shelter
and a variety of support services.SI

Volunteers help elders and adults with disabilities remain
independent in their own homes. Services are provided at no charge
for those individuals who cannot afford to pay for assistance.

Whether a birth mother decides to parent or place for adoption,
CCS provides adoption services throughout Washington State.
FAMILY PRESERVATION SYSTEM

Facilitates care using an individualized team-planning approach.
Services are designed for children/youth and families with
multiple and complex needs, including child and youth
behavioral challenges. Available by referral only.
THE YOUTH TUTORING PROGRAM

Provides educational support for elementary-age students who
need the extra help of one-on-one tutors.
GRAYS HARBOR YOUTH WORKS

A partnership program, Grays Harbor Youth Works (GHYW)
engages and transforms students 16–19 throughout Grays
Harbor County by providing internship experiences that can lead
them to vocational certification and/or college, and ultimately to
livable wage employment.
FOSTER GRANDPARENT PROGRAM

Low-income senior volunteers provide one-on-one emotional
support, mentoring and tutoring to at-risk children and youth at
schools, child care facilities and other sites. Please call to find out
about volunteer opportunities.

Hoquiam House provides adults living with chronic mental
illness the opportunity to develop independent living skills in a
supportive residential environment they may access upon
exiting the Grays Harbor Crisis Clinic.
