For donations by checks, please have checks made out to
CLRS. Food donations may be left in back of the church or
dropped off at the food locker.

St Joseph’s Youth Group (Spanish)
The youth group invites all the youth whom
wishes to participate in their activities.
The youth group meets every Friday at 7pm
in the gymnasium of the parish.
Mark Your Calendars
Our native son, Fr. Jim Sullivan is celebrating his
10th Anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood and you are
all invited. Fr. Jim will be here to celebrate the 8 a.m. and 10
a.m. masses on Sunday, June 26, 2016, This day is very special to the Sullivan Family, it is the day his mother and father
were married here at our and their beloved St. Joseph’s. A
simple reception will follow after Mass.

Reno Bus Trip
The Guadalupe Committee of St. Joseph’s is organizing a Reno
bus trip for June 19, 2016. The cost will be $35 per person
and includes $10 in play and $5 for food. For more information

The bulletin gives St. Joseph an opportunity to
inform you, our Parishioners important information
on what’s happening in our Church and the Diocese.
We still need advertisers to help publish our bulletin. If you
have a business or know of someone who has a business and
would like to place an ad in the bulletin, contact the Church

A small ad in the bulletin will cost $26.50 a month.

Legion of Mary
A Legion of Mary group has started here at St. Joseph’s.
They meet Sundays 11:00am-12:30pm.

We are again implementing the Sponsor Donation Program. This Program
was implemented 4 years ago and has been a huge success for St. Joseph.
Please consider donation to this Program as this year more than ever St.
Joseph needs your support. Our Church is in dire need of major repairs, i.e.
painting - repairing the stained glass windows - a new Church roof - and/or
purchase/repair of the ovens in the Church Hall to mention a few.
We are hoping that the Community will come together by donation as much as
you can to the Sponsor Donation Program and Supporting the Fall Festival.
Remember St. Joseph is a historical Church that
we all love and are proud to be a Parishioner!!!

(Amoris Laetitia)
The Joy of Love (Amoris Laetitia) is Pope Francis’ recent
exhortation -- it’s a beautiful message of compassion,
hope and love in the family.
Fr. Octavio Ventura will discuss the Pope’s reflections on the
teachings of the Catholic Church about marriage and family.
What are the roles of parents, children, and grandparents in
the modern family? What are the biggest challenges for the
family today?
Join us! Sessions are FREE and are offered in English and
Spanish throughout the diocese:

Otra vez estamos implementando el Programa de Patrocinador Donativo.
Este programo fue implementado desde hace 4 años y ha sido un gran éxito
para San José. Por favor considere donando a este Programa ya que este
año mas que nunca San José necesita el apoyo. Nuestra Iglesia esta en gran
necesidad de reparaciones mayores, i.e. pintura, reparación de las vidrieras,
un nuevo techo para la Iglesia y/o compra/reparación de hornos para el
salón de la parroquia para mencionar unos pocos.
Esperamos que la Comunidad se reúna, donando lo más posible al Programa
de Patrocinador Donativo y apoyando el Festival de Otoño.
Recuerde San José es una Iglesia histórica que amamos y estamos orgulloso de ser un feligrés!!!

La Alegría del Amor, es la más reciente exhortación del Papa
Francisco –es un mensaje hermoso de compasión, esperanza y
amor en la familia.
El Padre Octavio Ventura estará hablando sobre las reflexiones
del Papa respecto a las enseñanzas de la Iglesia Católica sobre
el matrimonio y la familia.
¿Cuáles son las funciones de los padres, hijos y abuelos en la
familia moderna? ¿Cuáles son los retos más grandes de las
familias en la actualidad?
