Storytime at Aurora Public Library
Fall 2016
Book Babies (0 to 12 months with a caregiver)
Introduce your little one to the library. Babies and
caregivers will enjoy short books and rhymes together.
Stay for 15 minutes of free play after each session.
Preschool Explorers (Ages 3 to 5 with a caregiver)
Perfect for little scientists, each week features a story
and a hands-on activity. Some projects might get a
little messy!
Lapsit (0 to 24 months with a caregiver)
Short books, rhymes, songs and more are featured
to help introduce pre-literacy skills. Walkers and
siblings are welcome!
Preschool Songs & Stories (Ages 3 to 5)
Move to the music with percussion, rhymes, dancing
and stories! This storytime is designed for children
who are ready to attend on their own.
Tiny Tots (12 to 23 months with a caregiver)
Enjoy a custom-made storytime for little movers!
Stay for 15 minutes of free play after each session.
Stories & Crafts (Ages 5+)
Stop by for a storytime tailor made for older kids!
Longer stories and a craft are featured in each session.
Toddler Art (Ages 2 to 3 with a caregiver)
Bring your future artists to this creative storytime!
Each session will feature a hands-on art project.
Young Artists (Ages 5 to 7)
Stop by for a storytime tailor made for older kids!
Longer stories and an art project are featured in each
session.
Toddler Songs & Stories (Ages 2 to 3 with a
caregiver)
Move to the beat with percussion, rhymes, dancing
and stories. This storytime session is perfect for
young music lovers.
Story Action Time (Ages 2 to 4)
This energetic program is designed to incorporate
rhythm and rhyme! Parachutes, bean bags, and
rhythm sticks are just part of the fun. Caregivers
are welcome.
Preschool Art (Ages 3 to 5 with a caregiver)
Bring your young artists for this creative storytime!
Each session features an art project designed for
preschoolers.
Bedtime Storytime (All ages welcome!)
Join us for these special nighttime family storytimes.
Families are encouraged to participate together! You
can even wear your jammies!
Family Story Action Time (All ages welcome!)
This all-ages program is designed for families to
explore play in the library. Build a reading fort, go on
a story walk and much more!

some fun at the Museum after! No registration.
