Proyecto SAGER . Implantación finales de 2014

AEG Power Solutions Ibérica, SL ha preparado un plan de desarrollo local de un una gama de
sistemas de almacenamiento de energía de 600 kW y 600kWh.
Para ello se va a probar en el Centro de Transformación Arquímedes de la red de distribución
eléctrica de Iberdrola ( situado en el polígono industrial de Júndiz, Vitoria) un primer prototipo
conectado en Baja Tensión.
PROYECTO SAGER
Sistemas de almacenamiento de energía a gran escala para la red eléctrica SAGER .
Este prototipo contará con un convertidor AEG de potencia nominal de 600 kW (SC 600) que
operará con una limitación de 125 KW para adaptarse a los requisitos de la conexión en Baja
Tensión.
El almacenamiento de energía permite acomodar el consumo del Centro de Transformación
de forma más amigable para la red eléctrica, puesto que recorta los picos de demanda con la
energía almacenada en las horas valle de la noche. Además hace que los transformadores
funcionen en un punto de operación más eficiente y permite retrasar las inversiones
necesarias por incremento de consumo.
Esta experiencia es única a nivel del País Vasco y ha de constituir toda una referencia a nivel
español y europeo.
