Dear participant, We would like to welcome you to the 10TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON APPLICATIONS OF NATURAL LANGUAGE TO INFORMATION SYSTEMS ( NLDB 2005) and wish you a pleasant stay in our city. Below you will find some useful information about the Conference. CONFERENCE VENUE All sessions will be held in the Rafael Altamira Hall, in the head offices of Alicante University ( Sede Universitaria Ciudad de Alicante ), located in Avenida Dr. Ramon y Cajal nº 4. MEALS Wednesday and Thursday 1.30 p.m. Meals will take place at the “La Traviata” restaurant ( Calle Alemania, 18 ) WELCOME RECEPTION AT THE “CASTILLO SANTA BÁRBARA”, Wednesday 9 p.m. Alicante Town Hall is pleased to invite you a Reception at the Castillo Santa Bárbara. The coach will pick you up from Plaza Puerta del Mar at 8.30 p.m. After the reception, Congress participants will be taken to Plaza Puerta del Mar by coach. BANQUET DINNER, “EL MAESTRAL” RESTAURANT, Thursday 9 p.m. The coach will pick you up from Plaza Puerta del Mar at 8.30 p.m. After the dinner, Congress participants will be taken to Plaza Puerta del Mar by coach. INTERNET ACCESS If you want to use Internet, please ask the personnel of the Technical Secretariat. POSTERS PRESENTATIONS Poster sessions will take place on the same room where the Registration Desk is located. Authors are kindly asked to fix their posters themselves. Please use one of the boards and stay by your poster all the time indicated in the programme for the Poster Sessions. Materials for attaching posters to the boards will be provided by the Organization at the conference site.
