The Property: Sowena
A delightful, newly renovated detached stone barn, situated near to the owner's charming farmhouse on the edge
of the village of Goldsithney. Offering comfortable accommodation, Sowena has been well decorated and furnished,
and its peaceful setting promises a relaxing stay. A short 5 minute walk from Sowena, lies the village of
Goldsithney, which boasts two pubs; both of which serve food, a well stocked village store and a post office.
Goldsithney and the surrounding countryside has a myriad of footpaths, which link the villages in the area; a
walkers delight. Near to St Michael's Mount, beautiful Marazion and countless beaches, gardens and stately homes,
this is a superb base from which to explore all the region has to offer.
Note; The cottage is not situated on a working farm.
A welcome pack consisting of a Cornish Cream Tea, milk, tea, coffee & sugar will allow you time to unwind upon
your arrival.
A ‘starter pack’ (dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, cleaning cloth/ scourer and toilet rolls) is provided.

All ground floor.
One double bedroom.
One twin bedded room (Extra single futon bed or travel cot can be made available upon request).
Shower/wet room with shower area, basin and WC.
Open plan living room with dining area .
Porch with door leading to patio area and garden.
Fully fitted kitchen with door leading front of property.
Amenities;
All electric and heating are included in rental price.
Electric heating from electric under floor heating in kitchen, lounge and wet room., supplemented by radiators for
winter occupation ( via LPG boiler.). Electric panel heaters in the bedrooms.
Electric shower, heated towel rail in wet room.
Crockery, cutlery, utensils, glassware, etc. provided
Electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer ,washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, radio /CD with Ipod
docking facility.
Digital TV with freeview, DVD, small library of DVD's.
Selection of board games and books.
Bed linen & towels included in rent. ( please provide own Beach towels)
Travel cot and bedding available on request.
Ample off road parking.
Patio furniture and small BBQ.

Follow A30 down to Penzance. About 8 miles from Penzance you will pass through the village of Crowlas.
Approx 1 mile further on you will reach a roundabout. Take the first left signposted A394 to Helston. After approx 2
miles take the first left at the roundabout to Leedstown/ Goldsithney.
Further directions to the cottage will be given upon booking.
