Pastor’s Corner
Reflexiones de tu
Pastor
Through the gift of faith, we are called to become pilgrims in our world and not merely tourists.
As today’s readings proclaim, true pilgrims remember
where they come from and where they are going.
Through their faith in God, the pilgrim people of Israel celebrated Passover to remember their freedom
from slavery. We, as Christians, celebrate the Passover of the Lord to recall his death and resurrection and
our freedom from the slavery of evil and sin. Through
Jesus Christ, we can live not as tourists who see reality
from the outside, but as true pilgrims who constantly
try to understand the mystery of God by embracing it
deeply and being prepared to proclaim it and suffer the
consequences of doing so. By giving up what is unnecessary, we discover the treasures of a glorious eternal life. This is the faith that guided and nourished
Abraham and culminated with obedience of Jesus on
the cross. Let us reflect on our family of faith. What
does it mean for us to live our faith in the twenty-first
century? Why are many losing their faith in our
Church and seeking a religious experience elsewhere?
What do they find away from Church?
*************************************
diferentes grupos.
