We recognize those parents that are offering their services at St. John in
various ways. Thank you for taking the time out of your day and week to
assist with student supervision front office duty, and assisting teachers
with various classroom projects.
Reconocemos aquellos padres que están ofreciendo sus servicios en
San Juan de diversas maneras. Gracias por tomarse el tiempo de su día
y de la semana para ayudar con la supervisión de los estudiantes,
oficina, y los maestros con varios proyectos.

5. We are seeking anyone who is able to translate newsletters and
other documents for administration, staff and teachers.
Translators will receive the full 50 service hours.
6. Thank you to parents that have responded to our need for
volunteering during lunch and recess duties. We are seeking
several more volunteers to help supervise during P.E., lunch
and recess.
7. Administration is currently collaborating with the police
department and the Diocese of Tucson to resolve the traffic
issue during dismissal time.

We have a great team of office staff that will assist you with uniforms, scholarships,
registration, etc. Unless you are seeking their assistance, please remain outside until
the ‘God in All Things’ and the ‘Eagle’ gate is open for dismissal. This will help to
avoid congestion in the office.
In order to effectively meet the needs of families, our goal is to increase parent/faculty
communication. Our teachers have expressed how important it is for them that you,
the parents, be given opportunities to be on board with the expectations and progress
of your child/ren.
St. John Parents have also expressed concerns about the overflow of cars at the
parking lot in the morning drop off and afternoon pickup. We are aware of the
situation and in the process of finding the best solution as we confer with our Pastor.
There are some challenges and limitations due to the increased student enrollment
and limited space. Maintaining a safe environment is our priority.
Tenemos un gran equipo de personal de la oficina que le ayudará con los
uniformes, becas, registro, etc. A menos que usted está buscando su ayuda, por

School will not be in session on
Monday. After care will not be
available. Teachers will be attending
professional development. School will
resume on Tuesday 30th. Students must
wear Mass uniforms on Tuesday 30th.

Every Minute Counts!
We would like to recognize families that have been living out our Root
Belief of making every minute counts. You have made every attempt to
arrive to school on time. As the primary educators of your children, you
are teaching them a valuable life-long skill that they will apply in high
school, college and career.
We ended the 2015-2016 school year with a 96% attendance rate. Your
challenge is to at least maintain this rate or better. Mrs. Solorzano will
include a quarterly attendance report at the end of each quarter in the
Ready Now newsletter.
