IMPORTANT DATES:
● TOMORROW, November 6th - REPORT CARD PICK-UP! 2pm-7pm. Come anytime during that
window to meet with your child’s Advisor! MANDATORY FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS! There
is complimentary parking in Target (see attached flyer).
● Friday, November 13th - ACT Testing. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. Students testing with
standard time or over multiple day testing will be dismissed at 12:55. Students testing with extended
time will be dismissed at 2:00. All students need to bring two #2 pencils, a calculator, and an IR book.
● Wednesday, November 11th - NO SCHOOL - OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED
● Thursday, November 19th - Parent night! 5:30pm-7pm. More details at RCPU! Come experience a
class your child will take!
● Friday, January 15th, 2016 - Community Service Hours Due! 5 hours due for freshman, 20 hours due
for sophomores. Do not wait to get these hours done!
GENERAL REMINDERS:
● Student Invoices: If your student has a Semester 1 balance an invoice will be attached to this
newsletter. Payments can be made over the phone with a card. Questions about payments can be directed
towards Ms. Young in the office.
● Skipping LaSalle will result in 4D. The expectation is that students complete their homework every
night, and if they do not, that they attend LaSalle. No exceptions will be made.
● Parents are to keep their newsletters. Students must tear and return the bottom signature portion of
Newsletters after it is signed by parents. Students will lose advisory points for signatures not returned on
due date.
● We strongly advocates that parents use PowerSchool and communicate with the school. Effective
communication between the school, students, and parents provides the best results for all parties. Please
contact your child’s Advisor
● Tardy Policy: Students tardy to school will receive demerits according to the following scale: Less than
one minute = 1 demerit. Between 8:30-9:15 = 2 demerits. After 9:15, students will receive 3 demerits.
Parents must sign students into school if they arrive after 9:30 am.
DISCIPLINE REMINDERS:
● Absences: Students who do not come to school and do not provide a note from a parent or doctor within
48 hours will receive an automatic 4 demerits for skipping school.
● Nail polish: Female students are only allowed to wear one nail color with no designs. Mood change nail
polish is not allowed.
● Phones: Please be reminded that phones should be turned off and in lockers.

FECHAS IMPORTANTES:
● MANANA, 6 de noviembre- DIA PARA RECOGER LAS CALIFICACIOENS! 2pm-6:30 pm. Venga a
cualquier hora durante ese periodo de tiempo para reunirse con el asesor de su hijo! ESTO ES OBLIGATORIO
PARA PADRES Y ESTUDIANTES. Hay estacionamiento gratis en el estacionamiento de Target (ver boletín
adjunto).
● Miércoles, 11 de Noviembre- No clases. OFICINAS ESTARAN CERRADAS.
● Viernes, 13 de Noviembre- Examen ACT. ASISTENCIA ES MANDATORIA. Estudiantes tomando el
examen con tiempo normal saldrán a las 12:55pm. Estudiantes tomando examen con tiempo extendido
saldrán a las 2:00pm. Todos estudiantes deben traer 2 lápices #2, una calculadora, y un libro para leer.
● Jueves, 19 de Noviembre- Noche de padres! 5:30pm – 7pm. Más detalles el día de recoger boletas.
● Viernes, 15 de enero 2016- Horas de servicio comunitario deben ser entregadas. 5 horas para estudiantes de
primer año y 20 horas para estudiantes de segundo año. No se esperen a última hora para entregar sus horas!
RECORDATORIOS:
● Facturas del Estudiante: Si el estudiante tiene un balance de una factura se adjunta a este boletín. Los pagos
pueden hacerse por teléfono con una tarjeta. Preguntas sobre pagos pueden ser dirigidas hacia la señora joven en
la oficina.
● Estudiantes que no asisten a LaSalle, recibirán 4 deméritos. La expectativa es que el estudiante complete su tarea
todas las noches y so no, tendrán que quedarse para LaSalle. No hay excepciones.
● Los padres deben guardar sus boletines de noticias. Los estudiantes deben romper y devolver la parte de abajo
después de ser firmado por los padres. Los estudiantes perderán puntos de asesoramiento para las firmas que no se
devuelvan en la fecha de vencimiento.
● Les urgimos a padres que usen PowerSchool y que se comuniquen con la escuela. Comunicación efectiva entre
padres, la escuela, y estudiantes provee buenos resultados para todos los grupos. Por favor comuníquese con el
asesor de su hijo.
● Póliza de tardanzas: Estudiantes tarde a la escuela recibirán deméritos de acuerdo a lo siguiente: Menos de 1
minuto= 1 demerito, de 8:30-9:15 = 2 deméritos. Después de las 9:15am, estudiantes recibirán 3 deméritos.
Padres deben firmar al estudiante si llegan después de las 9:30am.
RECORDATORIO DE DISCIPLINA:
● Ausencias: Estudiantes que no asistan a la escuela y no entreguen una nota de un padre o un médico dentro de 48
horas recibirá 4 deméritos para faltar a la escuela.
● Esmalte de Unas: Niñas solo están supuestas a usar un color de unas sin diseños. Esmalte que cambia de color de
acuerdo del estado emocional no es permitido.
● Teléfonos: Por favor recuerde que los celulares deben estar apagados y en los casilleros.
