Introduction
An indefinite adjective is used to describe a noun in a non-­‐specific sense. The three most common indefinite adjectives in Spanish are ; 1. Alguno / alguna / algunos / algunas some
¿Has comido algún chocolate ? Have you eaten some chocolate ? Si, pero he dejado algunos Yes, but i've left some 2. Ninguno / ninguna / ningunos / ningunas not any /none
¿Has comido algún chocolate ? Have you eaten some chocolate ? No, ninguno No, none 3. Todos /todas all

Indefinite adjectives agree in gender and in number with the noun that they refer to ; algún* chico / alguna chica / algunos chicos / algunas chicas ningún* chico / ninguna chica / ningunos** pantalones / ningunas** tijeras todos los chicos / todas las chicas * alguno and ninguno have an abbreviated form in front of a masculine singular noun ** ningunos and ningunas are only used with nouns that don't have a singular Sometimes we can use an indefinite adjective with the noun that it refers to or if we already know what we are talking about, without the noun. ¿Tienes alguna pregunta ? There is a group of Indefinite articles in Spanish that are used to talk about things ;
algo something nada nothing / anything todo everything Veo a alguien en la calle. I can see someone in the street. No veo a nadie en la calle. I can't see anybody in the street. Veo algo. I see something No veo nada. I can't see anything ¡Lo veo todo ! I can see everything ! The group of indefinite articles for people and things are invariable and therefore only have a masculine singular form. IV. Negatives
Sometimes we use nadie and nada as well as ninguno which are already negative (nobody, nothing and none) to from a double negative with no. The no is placed before the verb and the negative indefinite article after it ; No me gusta nada. I don't like anything. No me gusta a nadie I don't like anyone. No existe ningún problema. There isn't any problem. In Spanish there are other negatives that we can place before the verb (not just no) and after it to form these double negative sentences ; 1. No, ni, tampoco
No tengo ningún amigo. I don't have a single friend. Tampoco tengo ningún amigo. I don't have any friends either. 2. nunca, jamás
Jamás he visitado la España. Never have I visited Spain. Ni ningún otro país. Or any other country. 3. nadie, nada

There is one other indefinite adjective in Spanish that is important and that is otro (another). This is used to refer to one or more specific objects but that are of a similar nature. Tengo un hermano mayor pero tengo otro también. I have an older brother but I also have another one. Ya tengo una lampára pero quisiera otra. I already have one lamp but i'd like another.
