Copyright in the XXI Century. Challenges in the Collective Management, New Business Models Seminar will be celebrated in Mexico. Mexico City, October 2015 The Mexican Centre of Protection and Promotion of Author’s Rights, Collective Management Society (CeMPro) for its Spanish initials) along with the International Federation of Reprographic Rights Organization (IFRRO) will realize the Seminar with the aim to instruct about new business models that the publishing industry affronts with the assistance of internationally recognized speakers. The Seminar takes place in the context of the celebration of the International Congress of Reprographic Rights Societies being Mexico the host country. The Seminar will take place at the José Vasconcelos Library from 9:00 to 15:00 hr next November 9, 2015. The topics will be around the copyright perspectives, evolution, technologic development and protection of the literary or printed work as well as other protected work. We could listen to the points of view of a huge part of the creative and cultural industry, represented by great scholars, artists and its protection experts such as: Rainer Just, IFRRO Chairman; Katie Web, IFLA Administrator; Mats Lindberg, General Manager of BUS Visual Copyright; Manuel Guerra, INDAUTOR Director; Miguel Ángel Margáin, IMPI Director, among others. In 2015, will be the second occasion, after 17 years that Mexico will host the International Congress of Collective Management Societies.
