GENDER EMPOWERMENT Initiatives & Achievements
CEOS TECHNOLOGIES was established in 1998
by Ann Kleynhans to provide IT Solutions to the
corporate market. The company grew from strength
to strength by expanding their product range to
incorporate leading brand names. In 2000 the
company entered a joint venture with a black
empowered company and CEOS TECHNOLOGIES
was registered as 100% women-owned company
that is 51% black empowered and supports 10%
disability employment.
The achievements of CEOS Technologies include:
Service call centre - This was started 12 months
ago and has grown by 100%. These services
include printer and PC repairs and data and voice
connectivity with a full on support help desk.
The Company has been recognised as one of
the Top 300 Black Empowerment Companies by
Impumelelo and received an achievers certificate.
Phenomenal growth in hardware sales and 100%
growth over the past two years in turnover and
profit.
The Company has been awarded numerous tenders
including R6.5 million tender this year by the
Department of Public Works.
The Company has been appointed as an accredited
HP partner for the past four years to sell full range of
products in corporate and government.
Appointed as a Mecer business partner in a
government contract.
CEOS Technologies has been selected to take part
in the Ledibogo Business Partner Programme. The
training will enable us to revisit all elements of our
business from processes to customer relations and
make the necessary improvements and adjusments.
It will inspire us to become more productive and
reach for higher goals.
Our success is to keep a close working relationship
with our suppliers and provide our clients with the
best possible services and solutions.
CEOS Technologies has been the main sponsor for
the past four years of the CEOS Cylce Challenge
and through these events manage to support
various charities.
The goals of the Company are:
To continually improve and grow as a company.

The implementation of a fully certified training
division on the premises.
To grow by 30% in the next year in staff, turnover
and profit.

Ann Kleynhans, Founder and CEO
Ann Kleynhans started as an entrepreneur in 1998 by providing employment opportunities to HDI and PDI
individuals with a focus on gender equity, to transfer skills and develop into management level in the IT
sector. Kleynhans founded CEOS Technologies in 1998 as an IT procurement house for the corporate and
Government sectors and is the driving force behind CEOS Technologies; leading, guiding and interacting
with all staff, from ground to management level on a day to day basis.
Kleynhans gained 10 years experience in the financial and procurement industry after completing a
Diploma in Marketing Management and Advance Business Management. She is currently studying for a
BA Degree. Her responsibilities include growing and assisting in the financial and business management
of upcoming PDI companies in the IT Sector.
