and restful. We are now
ready for the second half
of the academic year and
we hope to continue with
your support inside and
outside the classroom.

Rights of homeless students
Somerton School District shall
provide an educational environment
that treats all students with dignity
and respect. Every student
experiencing homelessness or
transition shall have access to the
same free and appropriate
educational opportunities as
students who are not homeless. This
may include tutoring, free lunch,
transportation or other services the
School feels are appropriate. If you
have any questions, please contact
your school or the District Homeless
Liaison, Shelly Mezei at 341-6031

* Keep in touch with the school
and your child’s teachers.
* Monitor how well your child is
doing in school.
~Breakfast~
Every morning we offer a variety of
breakfast choices in order to allow
students to start their day off with
great breakfast. We also offer juice
and variety of milk such as 1% milk,
fat free chocolate milk and fat free
milk. We offer breakfast from 7:00
a.m- 7:30 a.m

Derechos de estudiantes sin
hogar
El Distrito Escolar de Somerton
proveera un ambiente educativo
que trate a todos los estudiantes
con dignidad y respeto. Cada
estudiante que se encuentre bajo
las condiciones de no tener un
hogar o en crisis, tendrá acceso a
las mismas oportunidades de una
education adecuada y gratuita al
igual que los estudiantes con
hogar. Esto puede incluir servicios
de tutor, comida gratuita,
transportacion y otros servicios
que la escuela crea que son
necesarios. Si usted tiene una
pregunta por favor pongase en
contacto con su escuela o con la
intermediaria de Familias sin
Hogar de el Distrito, Sra. Shelly
Mezei 341-6031.
Desayuno
Ofrecemos variedad de desayuno que
permite a los estudiantes empezar su
día con desayuno.Tambien ofrecemos
jugo y lecho 1%, chocolate descremada
y leche descremada de 7:00am-7:30am.
