HEMISFÈRIC
A unique architectural atmosphere in which art, science, and nature magically fuse to
allow knowledge to take center stage. This large leisure center made up of 350,000 m2
includes: the Oceanogràfic, an underwater city that includes the main seas and oceans of
the planet; the Àgora, a multi-purpose space that houses events of different natures; the
Museu de les Ciències Príncep Felipe, an interactive science museum where you’ll learn
while having fun; the Hemisfèric, with an IMAX DOME cinema, digital 3D cinema, and
digital imagery; and the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, a marvelous opera house.
The Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències is excitement. Its oceans can be explored by foot and
you can travel through time, discover galaxies, or play with electricity. It’s a place where
you can become an astronaut, say hello to sharks, or dance with dolphins.
Un enclave arquitectónico único donde el arte, la ciencia y la naturaleza se funden con
una magia especial para disfrutar del conocimiento. Este gran centro de ocio, de 350.000
m2, comprende: el Oceanogràfic, una ciudad submarina que engloba los principales
mares y océanos del planeta; el Àgora, un espacio multidisciplinar que acoge eventos
de distinta naturaleza; el Museu de les Ciències Príncep Felipe, un museo de ciencia
interactiva donde aprenderás divirtiéndote; el Hemisfèric, un cine IMAX DOME, cine
digital 3D y proyecciones digitales; y el Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, un maravilloso
teatro de la ópera.
La Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències es una ilusión. Sus océanos se recorren caminando
y es posible viajar en el tiempo, explorar las galaxias o jugar con la electricidad. Donde
puedes convertirte en astronauta, saludar a tiburones o bailar con delfines.

Get the most out of your time here by visiting the Oceanogràfic, the
largest aquarium in Europe. Here, you will be able to tour the Earth’s
oceans on foot. Fun is allowed, with more than 45.000 animals and
500 different species on view and co-existing peacefully.
Disfruta al máximo de tu visita en el Oceanogràfic, el mayor acuario de Europa. Aquí los océanos se recorren
caminando y está permitido divertirte con los 45.000 animales, de 500 especies diferentes, que conviven en armonía.
Asómbrate con el cangrejo araña, conoce a las focas y a los leones marinos. Si quieres tomar un atajo, accede por
el Túnel de Océanos y recorre sus 70 metros de longitud caminando entre tiburones, rayas y peces luna.
Para bailar con los delfines acude al delfinario, y si prefieres divertirte con los pingüinos, acércate a la Torre de
Antártico. Eso sí, no olvides saludar a las belugas cuando atravieses el Ártico.

Be amazed by our giant spider crab, and if you’d like to have a chat
with the seals, we ask that you save a few words for our sea lions. If
you want to take a shortcut, enter the 70 metre-long Ocean Tunnel
and walk alongside sharks, rays and sunfish.
If you feel like dancing with dolphins, visit the Dolphinarium, or pass
the time with the penguins at the Antarctic Tower, if you prefer. But
don’t forget to say hello to the beluga whales when you cross the
Arctic.
