fee is $75.00

Mission Cooperation Plan –Divine Word Missionaries
This Weekend Fr. Joseph Trong Nguyen SVD will be with us. Fr. Joseph will celebrate the
Masses and preach about the missionary work for the Divine Word Missionaries. The DWM
are an international Religious Community of 6,100 missionary Priest and Brothers who serve
in 70 countries, Fr. Nguyen is originally from California and has roots in Vietnam. He has
worked as a missionary for 7 years in the Philippines in the South Pacific, and in Vietnam for
9 years. Fr. Joseph currently serves as a missionary pastor at Blessed Kateri Tekawitha Parish
in Banning, California. Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha includes 2 Parishes and a mission on an
Indian Reservation in the Diocese of San Bernardino. This Mission Appeal is part of the
Mission Coop Program of our Archdiocese. Please be generous in the second collection to
help support their missionary work. The Divine Word Missionaries serve in some of the most
difficult areas of our world.

Dear Brother and Sisters,
I continue to be impressed with the generous and warm hospitality of all of you and with
your willingness to work for the continue spread of the Gospel here at Maria Regina
Parish Community.
In the Past two weeks, I have seen our church in a time of challenge; a time in which,
more than ever, the laity will be called on to take on your rightful role as leaders in our
local church community. Therefore I would ask you to choose or recommend one
person as a potential member of the Parish Pastoral Council, please write down the
name and mail it to Fr. Sang Tran at the Rectory. Thank you for your caring contribution to
strengthen God’s People at Maria Regina Parish. In Christ Fr. Sang Tran.
