Dear student,
Halloween is coming and we would like to celebrate it in a different way this year! We would
like you to dress up as the main characters of a book or a book-to-movie adaptation. The
whole class will participate in the organization of a short role-play of a famous scene of
the book/movie that you choose. You can go to the library to get ideas on what books or
movies you can choose from.
Here you have some important information for the event:
• Date: Friday, October 30th
• Time: the same time of your class.
• Classes will dress up as the characters of a book or a book-to-movie adaptation.
• You have to role play a famous scene from the movie/book that should be from 3 to 5 minutes long
and it should be done in English.
The criteria to choose the winners are:
- Creativity for the costume design
- Team work
-Pronunciation
- Eye contact and body language
-Enthusiasm
- Ability to involve the audience
- Preparation: not use of scripts and organization of the sketch.
- In each class, there should be minimum five actors/actresses but all the class can participate somehow.
- There will be prizes for the winners.
- Registration is mandatory: no more than two classes per shift can choose the same book/movie. Deadline: Oct 23
- Your teacher will sign up for the course.
