First Friday 24 hour Adoration of the
Blessed Sacramento
The Catholic Store
The Catholic Store will visit St. Isidore on Sunday March
13th to bring our parishioners a selection of Bibles, Catechisms, Rosaries, religious articles, jewelry and gifts for
our upcoming sacramental occasions, including First Holy
Communion and Confirmation. Since 1997, The Catholic
Store, a family owned and operated Catholic Book and
Gift Store located at 1928 Broadway in Sacramento, has
been blessed to serve the Sacramento and surrounding areas with quality merchandise to help deepen our Catholic
Faith. Please stop by to meet us after the Sunday Masses.
God bless you!
Still trying to decide what “spiritual offering” you are
going to loving give Jesus this Lenten Season? How
about you start doing something instead of giving up
something? Father Francisco is fond of saying,
“Happy Priests, make happy Catholics! So please
pray for us every five minutes.” The Vocation
Committee would like to invite you to consider
praying daily for the Sanctity of Priests. Or, perhaps
you have attended mass and seen individuals or
families approach the alter (before the Concluding
Rite) to receive a special blessing and the Holy Land
Vocation Cross—that could be you! There are plenty
of weekly slots available during March and April. For
more information and to sign up, call the rectory or
Jennifer Martinez at 673-7991.
Parish Mission Week
Please come together as brothers and sisters to
welcome Fr. Richard Parks a Passionist Priest who
will be joining us this year during our Parish Mission
Week, which will be held the week of March 14-17
inside our church at 7:00pm, he will also be preaching
March 12 & 13. Hope to see you all there an
experience you won’t want to miss.
Prayer of Affirmation and Strengthening in
Holiness for Priests
Divine Grace, which always heals that which is infirmed
and supplies that which is lacking has called our beloved
brothers to sacred ministry. Let us pray that they be confirmed and strengthened with the grace of the Holy
Spirit. Fill them with grace and counsel, that they may
love you with all their hearts, all their minds, and all their
strength. Grant them irreproachable conduct, steadfast
faith, and good works so that they may help and guide
your people with unselfish motivation. Grant them wisdom, let their minds be sober and watchful, so that they
may be filled with works of healing and words of instruction. May they teach your people in meekness and serve
you in holiness with an undivided mind and willing
soul. May they be the light of your only Son that the word
of your gospel may be spread and your name may be glorified in every creature. May they serve at your holy altar
with pure hearts and good consciences. Grant that they
may prosper in all your commandants and the keeping of
your laws, so that they may be able to minister joyfully on
the day of your coming.

BBQ Cook-Off. It will be held on May 22 during
