7.45 Departure from Punta del Este
Delivery of two dossiers: about Rocha in general and about the cattle ranch
that is to be visited in the morning. It is suggested the reading of both
dossiers.
8.45 Meeting at km. 193 of highway n° 9
9.00 Presentation of the cattle ranch El Cristal of Mr. Alfredo Tisnés
Field tour, focussing in pastures and breeding system of bovines and
ovines.
12.00 End of cattle ranch tour and departure to Rocha in the bus.
12.30 Lunch at the restaurant María Ester, on highway n° 9 (Cost of the
lunch is not included, it rans by the participant charge)
13.20 Departure to the second cattle ranch.
Reading of the dossier about the cattle ranch to be visited in the afternoon.
14.00 Arrival and presentation of the cattle ranch Campo Verde, of the
Llambí Bruno family.
Field tour in pick-up trucks, focussing in pastures, forage reserve and
fattening of cattle.
17.30 Final interchange of ideas on the cattle ranch, in the shed.
18.00 Departure in the bus to Punta del Este.
II - LUNCH
To facilitate the tour it is proposed to have a fixed lunch at restaurant María
Ester.
The options are:
a) First dish of buffet lunch and russian salad + petit entrecot (meat loin)
with green salad + dessert. Mineral water. Cost per person $ 330
b) Entrecot (meat loin) with green salad + dessert. Mineral water. Cost per
person $ 310
c) The dessert should be chosen between: rice with milk, flan, or Martín
Fierro (membrillo sweet with cheese)
Thuesday April 22th

Departure from Punta del Este
8.15 Milking yard of Ing. Clement. Gregorio Aznárez Village,
Maldonado.
10.00 Cattle ranch "Las Flores" of Mr. Héctor Rubio, on highway n° 9.
Presentation of Hereford breed flock. Cows with calf at foot and
presentation of the bulls.
11.15 Cattle ranch "La Fernandina", where it will be presented a flock of
Ile de France sheep.
12.30 Visit to a Milking breeding field in Maldonado.
14.00 Lunch at the Sociedad de Fomento Rural de San Carlos - Included in
the cost ot the tour.
16.00 Visit to the cattle ranch "Green Belt" of Mr. Jorge Cordero, José
Ignacio Village - Punta del Este. Breeding of Creole Horses
17.30 Return to Punta del Este.
