Erika Pani, Colegio de Mexico Dr. Erika Pani is Research Professor at the Colegio de Mexico in Mexico City, where she earned her Ph.D. She is also Chair of the Colegio de Mexico’s Center for Historical Studies. Her research interests cover the poliBcal history of Mexico and the United States during the nineteenth century, and she is a specialist on Mexico’s Second Empire of the 1860s. She has also held appointments at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) in Mexico City and the InsBtute of Historical InvesBgaBon at the NaBonal Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
