Description:
Mystery Skype is an educational game, invented by teachers, played by two
classrooms on Skype. The aim of the game is to guess the location of the other
classroom by asking each other questions.
Age range:
de 5 a 15
Aims:
Developing language, knowledge and communication skills of the students
through internet communication with students from a different country using
Skype. Improve children's geographical knowledge through questioning and
enquiry.
Expected
Outcomes:
Children will have an understand of each others countries, improved questioning
skills.Through this practical project task students will use their English language
skills in a real communication situation
Procedural
Plan:
The children will question the other school through the use of Skype. The
questions will be closed Yes/no questions, the children will need to work out
country, city and then hopefully school. Children will research each other school
using the internet, atlases and maps etc.
