visit the Paseo del Pilar, full of international renowned restaurants
and bars and the colonial Iglesia del Pilar (Church). Once back,
we visit the amazing Teatro Colón (Colon Theatre) -one of the
two opera houses that together with the Scala of Milan, share
the best acoustics in the world - and coring the widest avenue
of the world, the Av. 9 de Julio, where we can find the Plaza de
la República (Republic Square) in the centre of which rises the
most characteristic symbol of the Buenos Aires city: the Obelisco
(Obelisk). Later we arrive to Puerto Madero, the most modern
neighbourhood of the city, which was an old Port in the past and
was completely recycled in the 90s. Nowadays it is a must to see
for everyone who visits the city. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day

Día 3 / Day 3: BUENOS AIRES/EL CALAFATE

para tomar el vuelo con destino a la ciudad de El Calafate.

Día 2 / Day 2: BUENOS AIRES
Por la mañana, salida para dar inicio al City Tour, recorriendo los
puntos más importantes de la ciudad. Visita a Plaza de Mayo,
centro político, social e histórico donde se encuentra la Casa
Rosada sede del Poder Ejecutivo; el Cabildo, la primera casa
de gobierno en la época colonial; la Catedral Metropolitana
y la Pirámide de Mayo. De allí se atraviesa parte de la Avenida
de Mayo, rica en variedad de estilos arquitectónicos dónde se
destacan los edificios de estilo europeo. Más adelante se visitarán
los barrios de San Telmo, uno de los barrios más antiguos de la
ciudad y el barrio de La Boca, donde se encuentra el antiguo
puerto al que arribaron los primeros inmigrantes del país, que se
destaca por sus singulares viviendas coloridas. Posteriormente
se visita el sector norte de la ciudad, donde se encuentra el barrio
de Palermo, que se destaca por las grandes mansiones, por el
Parque Tres de Febrero y por innumerables plazas e importantes
avenidas. En esta zona se podrá observar el monumento a
la Carta Magna, comúnmente llamado Monumento de los
Españoles. Luego se accede al barrio de La Recoleta, uno de los
barrios más elegantes y aristocráticos de la ciudad, donde se
podrá observar el Paseo del Pilar, los numerosos y reconocidos
internacionalmente locales gastronómicos y la Iglesia del Pilar.
Ya de regreso se podrá apreciar el impactante Teatro Colón, uno
de los dos teatros con mejor acústica del mundo junto con la
Scala de Milán, y se atravesará la avenida más ancha del mundo,
la Av. 9 de Julio, donde se encuentra la Plaza de la República en
cuyo centro se levanta el símbolo más característico de la ciudad
de Buenos Aires: el Obelisco. El recorrido culmina visitando el
barrio más nuevo de la ciudad, Puerto Madero, viejo puerto del
pasado, que fuera completamente reciclado durante los años
`90 y convertido hoy en un paseo casi obligado de parte de los
turistas que visitan esta ciudad. Regreso al hotel. Resto del día

In the morning, we start the City Tour visiting the most important
points of the city. We visit Plaza de Mayo (Square): political,
social and historical downtown where we find the Casa Rosada
-Executive Government Seat-, the Cabildo -the first government
house in colonial times-, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the
Pirámide de Mayo (Pyramid of May). From there we cross Mayo
Avenue, rich in architectonic styles mainly of European origin.
Further on we visit San Telmo -one of the oldest neighbourhoods of
the city-, and later La Boca- the old port where the first immigrants
arrived to the country- notorious for its colourful constructions.
Later on, we visit the northern part of the city: Palermo, one of
the most residential neighbourhoods with its great mansions, Tres
de Febrero Park and its innumerable squares and major avenues
and thoroughfares. Here we can also see the monument to the
Carta Magna, commonly known as Monumento de los Españoles
(Monument to the Spaniards). Our tour continues to Recoleta, the
most elegant and aristocratic neighbourhood of the city. There we

Día 4 / Day 4: EL CALAFATE
Por la mañana se inicia el tour Full Day Glaciar Perito Moreno.
Partida en dirección oeste desde El Calafate. Luego de
recorrer un tramo de Meseta Patagónica se pueden observar
ñandúes, guanacos, armadillos y gran cantidad de pájaros
(entre ellos el águila mora o el cóndor). Luego se atraviesa
una zona de transición donde se observa cómo cambia
el paisaje al pasar de la estepa al bosque sub-andino
patagónico. Ya en el bosque se podrán apreciar lengas, ñires
y flores de intensos colores, destacándose el rojo del notro. El
cambio en la vegetación indica el incremento de las lluvias
a medida que se avanza en sentido oeste, hacia la cordillera.
Luego de recorrer pocos kilómetros, se encuentra la entrada
al Parque Nacional Los Glaciares. Dentro del parque se accede
a las pasarelas del mirador, dispuestas en tres niveles, desde
las cuales sorprenden las espectaculares panorámicas del
glaciar Perito Moreno, siempre matizadas por los periódicos
desprendimientos, a veces muy importantes, en su frente.
Seguidamente se podrá realizar el paseo denominado Safari
Náutico. Esta excursión lacustre parte del puerto Bajo de
las Sombras, dentro del parque y recorre el brazo Chico del
Lago Argentino para observar la pared Sur del Glaciar Perito
Moreno. Durante casi una hora el bote navega paralelo a
la pared de alrededor de 70 m. de altura, lo cual permite
apreciar de cerca los eventuales desprendimientos de hielo y
lo imponente del glaciar. Regreso al hotel. Alojamiento.
In the morning the Perito Moreno Glacier Full Day Tour starts.
Departure from El Calafate towards the West. After travelling
through the Patagonian Plateau can observe ‘Ñandues’
(Rhea Birds), Guanacos, Armadillos and a great variety of
birds (among them the Black-Chested Buzzard-Eagle and the
Condor). After travelling through a transition area we are able

to appreciate how the landscape completely changes when leaving the steppe
into the Sub-Andean Patagonian Forest composed of Lengas (White Oaks),
Ñires (Antartic Beech) and flowers of intense colours of which the red flowers
of the ‘Notro’ (Fire Bush) are the ones that most stand out. The vegetation
indicates where rain level increases as we continue to advance towards the
west and the Andes. After travelling a few kilometres, we find the Entrance
to the National Park. Once inside the Los Glaciares National Park, we can
appreciate the long and wide footbridges of the viewpoint, constructed in
three levels, from which you are surprised with spectacular panoramic views
of the Perito Moreno Glacier, always blended with the periodical ice slides,
sometimes very significant, of its front. Optional: making a nautical safari.
This lake tour leaves from the Bajo las Sombras Pier, inside the park, and sails
along the Chico Channel of the Argentino Lake to observe the Southern wall
of the Perito Moreno Glacier. During almost an hour the ship sails parallel to
the wall of approximately 70m (229.66ft) in height, which allows us to enjoy
from close the ice slides and the grandeur of the glacier. Return to the hotel.

Día 5 / Day 5: EL CALAFATE
Muy temprano en la mañana, se inicia el tour Todo Glaciares | Upsala, Onelli
y Spegazzini. Partiendo desde El Calafate, se transita durante unos 30
minutos la ruta que nos une con el Puerto Bandera, desde donde parten
las embarcaciones. Navegando hacia el Glaciar Upsala, se atraviesa la parte
más angosta del Lago Argentino llamada Boca del Diablo, de apenas 1 km de
ancho. Más adelante, se comienzan a apreciar gran cantidad de témpanos
que son impulsados por los fuertes vientos del oeste. A una distancia
prudencial de unos 800 mts, se podrá apreciar el frente del Glaciar Upsala.
Este glaciar es el más grande del Parque Nacional, con una superficie de 595
km2 y 60 metros de altura. Continúa la navegación con dirección sur hasta
llegar a Bahía Onelli donde se desembarca. Posteriormente se dispone de
tiempo libre para almuerzo. Luego se realiza una caminata de unos 800 mts
a través de un bosque hasta llegar a la Laguna Onelli, cuya superficie está
cubierta de témpanos. Desde este punto se pueden apreciar otros cuatro
glaciares: Onelli, Bolados, Agassiz y Heim. Por último, se visita el frente
del Glaciar Spegazzini, el más alto de la región, con un frente que llega a
medir en sus picos más elevados los 135 metros de altura. Ya de regreso,
se desembarca nuevamente en Puerto Bandera, y se prosigue por tierra
nuevamente hacia la localidad de El Calafate. Alojamiento.
Early in the morning begins the All Glaciers Tour | Upsala, Onelli and Spegazzini
in the morning. Leaving from El Calafate and travelling some 30 minutes on
the route that joins this city with Puerto Bandera, from where ships leave.
Sailing towards the Upsala Glacier
we go through the narrowest
part of the Argentino Lake,
called Boca del Diablo
(Devil’s Mouth), of barely 1 km (0.62 mi)
in width. Further ahead, we start to enjoy
the great quantity of ice floes that are
pushed by strong west winds. From a
safe distance of 800m (2,624.7ft)., we can
enjoy the Upsala Glacier front. This glacier
is the largest of the National Park, with
a surface area of 595 km2 (229.75 mi2)
and 60 m (196.85ft) in height. The sailing
continues southwards up to Onelli Bay
where we disembark. Freetime for lunch.

Día 6 / Day 6: EL CALAFATE (ARGENTINA) / PUERTO NATALES (CHILE)
Traslado a la terminal de ómnibus para salir rumbo a la ciudad de Puerto
Natales. Llegada luego de un viaje de 6 horas aproximadamente. Recepción
en la terminal de buses y traslado al hotel. Alojamiento.

Día 7 / Day 7: PUERTO NATALES

realiza una segunda parada en el Cerro Castillo, donde los pasajeros podrán
disfrutar de servicios de cafetería, para luego llegar al Parque Nacional
Torres del Paine por el sector de Laguna Amarga y apreciar un verdadero
espectáculo de ejemplares de zorros colorados y cóndores. Siguiendo en
la ruta se pueden observar los lagos Nordenskjold y Pehoé y grupos de
guanacos y ñandúes. El camino continúa con una caminata de 10 minutos,
donde es posible descubrir el bello Salto Grande para continuar rumbo al
sector del lago Grey. Durante la tarde, la excursión sigue hacia el sector del
glaciar, donde se realizará una parada de aproximadamente 1 hora y media
y una hermosa caminata entre los bosques de lengas y los imponentes
témpanos del glaciar Grey. El viaje de retorno concluye llegando a Puerto
Natales. Regreso al hotel. Alojamiento.
Tren del Fin del Mundo / End of the World train - Ushuaia

Departure to visit of the Torres del Paine National Park. The first stop will be
the thousand-year-old Milodon Cave; a huge natural geographical feature of
inestimable anthropological value where it is believed lived the Patagonian
Primitive man and the Milodon, an extinct herbivorous animal. We later
make a second stop: Castillo Mountain, where the passengers are able to
enjoy coffee-shop facilities, to later arrive to the Torres del Paine National
Park passing by the area of Amarga Lake, a spectacular sight where red
foxes and condors amaze the visitor. Following the route you can enjoy the
Nordenskjold and Pehoe Lakes, with herds of guanacos and rhea birds. The
road is followed by a 10 minute walk, to discover the beautiful Salto Grande
Falls and continue in direction of the Grey Lake area. During the afternoon,
the excursion continues towards the area of the glacier where stop for approx.
1 1 /2 hour for a beautiful walk among the Lengas (White oak) woods and the
imposing ice floes of Grey Glacier. Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
Día 8 / Day 8: PUERTO NATALES/ PUNTA ARENAS
Por la mañana traslado a la terminal de ómnibus para salir con destino a
Puerto Natales, donde se arriba luego de un viaje de 3 horas de duración
aproximadamente. Recepción en la terminal de buses y traslado al hotel.
Posteriormente se dispone de tiempo libre para el almuerzo. En horas de la
tarde, salida para dar inicio al City Tour con Museo donde se aprecia cómo
Punta Arenas se transformó en pocos años de ser una incipiente colonia,
en sus comienzos, a ser el más importante centro cultural, industrial,
comercial y ganadero de la zona. Se recorren avenidas, plazas y algunos de
los cerca de 30 monumentos de la ciudad, con el Estrecho de Magallanes
de fondo, incluyendo una visita al Museo Salesiano Maggiorino Bergatello,
donde es posible apreciar sus magníficas colecciones de ejemplares de flora
y fauna magallánica, exclusivas reliquias del folklore y artesanías de los
indios yaganes, onas y alacalufes que habitaron la zona. Resto del día libre.

departure for an interesting City Tour with Museum where we can see how
Punta Arenas grew from the newly formed colony of its beginnings, to become,
a few years later, into the most important cultural, industrial, commercial and
cattle raising centre of the area. We visit avenues, squares and some nearly
30 city monuments, with the Magellan Strait as background, including the
visit of the Maggiorino Bergatello Salesian Museum, where we can enjoy the
magnificent collections of specimens of Magellanic flora and fauna, exclusive
folklore relics and handicrafts of the Yaganes, Onas and Alacalufes Indians
who inhabited the area. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Día 9 / Day 9: PUNTA ARENAS (CHILE)/ USHUAIA (ARGENTINA)
Por la mañana traslado a la terminal de ómnibus para salir con destino a la
ciudad de Ushuaia. El trayecto incluye el cruce de la frontera que se realiza
por el paso fronterizo de San Sebastián, habiendo ingresado a la isla con el
transbordador que cruza el Estrecho de Magallanes desde Punta Delgada
hasta Bahía Azul. En el camino se conocen las ciudades argentinas de Río
Grande y Tolhuin para finalmente llegar a la ciudad de Ushuaia, tras 12 horas
de viaje. Recepción y traslado al hotel. Alojamiento.
Transfer to the bus station to take the bus with destination to Ushuaia. We
cross the border from the Chilean Republic by the San Sebastian frontier Pass,
after arriving to the island with the ferry that crosses the Magellan Strait
from Punta Delgada up to Azul Bay. On the way we discover the Argentine
cities of Rio Grande and Tolhuin and later arrive at Ushuaia City – capital of
the most southern Province of Argentina, Tierra del Fuego - after a 12 hour
trip. Reception and transfer to the hotel in Ushuaia. Accommodation.
Día 10 / Day 10: USHUAIA
Por la mañana, se inicia la excursión al Parque Nacional de Tierra del Fuego.
Este parque ocupa una superficie de 63.000 hectáreas y su objetivo es
preservar el ecosistema andino-patagónico y el bosque subantártico. Luego
de atravesar el valle del Río Pipo y en una de las laderas del Monte Susana,
está localizada la estación del Tren del Fin del Mundo. En este sector del
parque los convictos de la antigua prisión solían trabajar picando piedras.
Más adelante se visita Bahía Ensenada y la costa del Canal Beagle, el Lago
Roca y Bahía Lapataia, el lugar donde termina la Ruta Nacional 3 y el más
austral de la Ruta Panamericana. Allí se realizan cortas caminatas con la
posibilidad de ver especies del bosque nativo y la fauna del Parque Nacional
más austral de Argentina. Regreso al hotel. Resto del día libre. Alojamiento.
Morning departure for the excursion to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. It
occupies a surface area of 63,000 hectares (155,680 acres) and its objective is
to preserve the Andean-Patagonian Ecosystem and the Sub-Antarctic Wood.
After crossing the Pipo River and on one of the slopes of Susana Mountain, the
Tren del Fin del Mundo (End of the World Train) Station is located. In this area
of the park, convicts of the old prison used to work smashing stones. Further
ahead we visit the Ensenada Bay and Beagle Channel coast, the Roca Lake
and the Lapataia Bay, point where the National Route No. 3 ends as the most
southern point of the Pan-American Route. We will make some short walks
with the possibility of enjoying the view of species of the native forest and the
fauna of the most southern National Park in Argentina. Return to the hotel.

Día 11 / Day 11: USHUAIA/BUENOS AIRES
A la hora programada , traslado al aeropuerto de Ushuaia para tomar el vuelo
