June 17th is Father’s day. It is a day of joy not
only for the fathers, but also for all of us. I am very
blessed to have my father with me on earth. It is
important for us to express our deep love and
gratitude to our fathers.
El 17 de junio es el Día del Padre. Es un día de
alegría no sólo para los padres, sino también para
todos nosotros. Me siento muy bendecido de tener a
mi padre conmigo en la tierra. Es importante para
nosotros expresar nuestro profundo amor y gratitud a
nuestros padres. Sin embargo, para algunos de
nosotros quienes ya no tienen a sus padres con ellos
en la tierra, sabemos que este Día del Padre puede
traer tristeza a sus corazones.
However, for some of us who no longer have
their fathers with them on earth, we know that this
Father’s Day may bring some sadness to your hearts. I
hope that you will be able to give thanks to God for
the life of your fathers as we hope for reunion with all
in eternity. The source of all fatherhood is from God
the Father in heaven, who protects us from evil,
provides for our daily bread, and leads us to the truth.
We pray that all fathers may cherish their vocation of
fatherhood with great fervor.
This Sunday during all Masses we will bless all
the fathers who are present and pray for those who
are not.

vida de sus padres mientras esperamos reunirnos con
ellos en la eternidad.
La fuente de toda paternidad viene de Dios
Padre en el cielo, quien nos protege del mal,

Faith Formation Commission
Faith Formation Registration for the 2012-2013 year
is currently open for all parishioners. We are still in
need of many Catechists, Aides, Team Leaders and
Nursery Volunteers for the 2012-13 year. It takes
500 dedicated volunteers to make our Faith Formation Program successful as we serve approximately
2300 students each year. Needs are listed on our
website, under the Faith Formation page. Please
prayerfully consider joining our Faith Formation

Outreach Commission
This year’s Bingo For Friends fundraiser shatters last
year’s record! Thanks to everyone who worked on this
event, brought food, helped set-up and tear down, played
bingo, and supported SVdP in its efforts to help the
needy in so many ways! Preliminary figures say close to
$6,000 was raised to help those in crisis in our parish and
community! As Chairperson Pat Farinacci said, “We are
delighted and humbled by the support of our community
to help us provide relief for those who truly need it.
Many do not realize how many Frisco families are facing
serious problems. St. Vincent de Paul is always there to
help those in need. Since we are an all volunteer organization, all monies raised goes directly back to the needy.”
