REFLECCION DEL EVANGELIO: MATEO 21:33-43
Jesús compara a Dios con el dueño de un
viñedo que envía sus mensajeros a buscar
su parte en la cosecha. Los inquilinos
golpean, apedrean y dan muerte a los
mensajeros del dueño. Cuando el dueño
envía a su hijo, los inquilinos lo tratan de la
misma forma. Matan al hijo con la esperanza de quedarse con la
viña. El hijo en la parábola es Jesús y los mensajeros los profetas,
quienes hablan en nombre de Dios. Jesús nos recuerda que el
reino será tomado por los que no dan a Dios una buena cosecha
de buenas obras.
PREGUNTA PARA DIALOGAR:
¿Puedes encontrar las escrituras citadas por Jesús al contar esta
parábola? Nombra las personas o cosas que rechazamos en esta
parábola. ¿Cómo crees que se sentía Jesús cuando contaba la
historia de lo que le pasó a los profetas y al hijo? ¿Estamos
rechazando alguno de los mensajeros de Dios o a Jesús? ¿Cómo
podemos aceptar a Jesús y su mensaje en nuestras vidas? ¿Qué
oraciones pueden ayudarnos a ofrecer a Dios la cosecha de
nuestras vidas y trabajo?

sobre las cuestiones de vida y para
promover y rezar por un mayor respeto por toda vida humana. El lema
de esta año es: "Cada uno de nosotros es una obra maestra
de la creación de Dios", adaptado del saludo del Papa Francisco para la Jornada porla Vida 2013.
EN LA VIÑA
Como de costumbre, la primera y tercera lecturas de las Escrituras del día de hoy están evidentemente relacionadas,
mientras que la segunda lectura continúa una de las cartas
de Pablo, que en estos días es la conocida carta a los filipenses. Las historias de la viña, de Isaías y Mateo, hablan de
malhechores que van a “acabar mal”. En Isaías, es la propia
viña la que produce “uvas amargas” en vez de la cosecha
que el dueño soñaba con tener y por la que trabajó. Por lo
tanto, la viña será “pisoteada” y “cubierta con espinos”. En
Mateo, son aquellos a los que el dueño arrendó la viña los
que destruyeron el sueño. Por consiguiente el dueño “hará
morir sin compasión a esa gente tan mala y arrendará la viña
a otros” (Mateo 21:41). Efectivamente, si rechazamos el amor
divino vamos a acabar mal. Además con todo este hablar
sobre los infieles que son pisoteados y expulsados, es un
consuelo oír el mensaje de Pablo a los Filipenses quienes,
bajo ningún concepto, eran perfectos. “No se inquieten por
nada”, dice Pablo (Filipenses 4:6). “Y el Dios de la paz estará
