The 18th Annual Spirit Awards
Diocese of Brownsville 2015
!The Spirit Awards banquet will be held on Friday, January 23. The event
honors excellence in Catholic education while raising funds for the
Diocese’s tuition assistance program. An honoree or honorees from each of
the 13 Catholic schools in the Diocese will also be recognized at the event.

Congratulations to Mrs. Esther Aguirre our 2015 Spirit Awards honoree.
Mrs. Aguirre has been a teacher at the Oratory Schools for 23 years, where
day by day she has grown spiritually as well as academically and is
profoundly grateful to God for all the people who have been an example in
her life and contributed to her growth.

El banquete de los Premios de Espiritualidad se llevará a cabo este viernes 24 de enero. Este evento
honra la excelencia en la educación Católica mientras recauda fondos para el programa de
asistencia de colegiaturas de la Diócesis. Uno o varios de cada una de las trece escuelas católicas
de la Diócesis serán reconocidos en este banquete.

La Sra. Aguirre ha trabajado como maestra en el Sistema Escolar del Oratorio de San Felipe Neri
de Pharr por los últimos 23 años, donde día a día ha crecido tanto espiritualmente como
académicamente y esta profundamente agradecida con Dios por todas las personas que han sido un
ejemplo en su vida y han contribuido en su crecimiento.
