We Pray for our Sick.....
The church unites in praying for those who are critically ill. Our prayers can be a very effective channel for the healing power of
Christ. Some people have a crisis or illness. Others are chronically ill. Both types of situations need the care and concern of the
entire Body of Christ.
At the request of concerned family members, names of the critically ill will be placed on our prayer list and will remain on the sick
list for four (4) weeks. After that time they will be removed from the list. If a member of the family or the sick person himself or
herself wishes to remain on the list, they have only to call or e-mail us and we will be happy to oblige.

Reflection- St. Paul reminds us in the second reading that “I live by faith in the Son of God
who has loved me and given Himself up for me.” What do we give to - and do - for others?
What do we give to - and do - for Jesus?
General Intercession for Mass– That as committed stewards, we practice showing the
merciful love of God through various expressions of caring for others, we pray to the Lord.
Living Stewardship- We are grateful this week for all stewards of God’s mercy in our parish who care for the sick by visiting family members and friends who are ill, praying for the
sick individually by name or making a meal for people who are facing difficult situations in
caring for a sick loved one.

June 12:
Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary time
As we hear the Gospel today we realize that sometimes
we are like Simon as it’s far easier to see what is wrong in another than it is to see what is wrong in ourselves. But Jesus,
who accepts the poor woman without judging or blaming her,
shows us what Christian love is all about. Through your almsgiving you are performing a good work; far greater than you
think. The coins placed in the St. Vincent de Paul Poor Box
bring Christ’s love and compassion to the poor.
In the month of May, through your gifts, the Society of
St. Vincent de Paul was able to bring the love of God to the poor
by assisting families - providing food, paying utility and rent
bills, etc.
Thank You!!
PLEASE VOLUNTEER - you can help us respond to
requests from our neediest neighbors and help coordinate
Parish events. Help is needed in many forms – home visits,
paperwork, fundraising, phone calls and more…
We also connect on a spiritual level at every monthly
meeting and each visit.
* The Mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a
Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to
grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are
needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frédéric
Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.
Our Conference meets on the first Tuesday of the month.
Join us at our next meeting on Tuesday, July 5th
St. Rocco’s Parish Center, starting at 7:30 PM

New York has long been recognized as one of the most progressive states in the area of highway safety programs. The
Point/Insurance Reduction Program is offered to New York
drivers as an incentive for their involvement in a driver improvement course. The goal is to achieve a significant reduction in the number of reportable accidents that occur
on New York highways each year.
The National Safety Council, in cooperation with the Department of Motor Vehicles and your insurance company,
is please to offer you a way to lower your insurance premiums, reduce your driver record violation points, and
sharpen your driving skills.
What is the
Defensive Driving Course?
The DDC 6 hours classroom course is presented by the National Safety Council– certified instructors who, with the
help of modern, multimedia techniques, offer you a new
approach to learning accident prevention skills. You will
receive a course guide to use in class and to keep for future
reference. Even the most experienced drivers find the
course interesting and filled with valuable safe-driving tips.
It’s also great for new drivers, about-to-be drivers, and of
course, family involvement is encouraged.
The Point Reduction
Up to four (4) points will automatically be deducted from the
total on your driver record, if you have incurred violations
during the 18 month period prior to completing DDC. The
point reduction could help you avoid a license suspension!
However, it will not cancel a mandatory suspension or revocation, e.g. 3 speeding convictions within 18 months; nor will
it cancel any action that is already being taken against a motorist’s driving privileges.

de remordimientos, pero Natán le aseguró el
perdón de Dios. Igual que David, cualquiera
de nosotros puede perder la perspectiva y
dejar que los deseos rijan nuestras vidas. No
A ella
palabra. No importa si esos pensamientos
excelente esposo, que es un excelente Padre, que es un excelente proveedor, etc.;
excelente madre. Proclama vida sobre ella.
Trátala con ternura y suavidad como vaso
más frágil; y ella reaccionará positivamente.
Pídele perdón a Dios y a tu cónyuge si has
estado permitiendo pensamientos negativos
Dios. Habla con tu cónyuge. No asumas.
