XXX Domingo del Tiempo Ordinario
Jesús se pone a prueba por los fariseos, que le piden que ponga los
mandamientos de Dios en orden de importancia. Como siempre,
Jesús ofrece una respuesta impresionante. Ambos pasajes que él cita
eran familiares a sus oyentes: el primero se encuentra en
Deuteronomio, el segundo en el Levítico. Pero Jesús los une juntos
para abrir algo nuevo. El segundo mandamiento, Jesús dice, es como
la primera. ¿Cómo puede amar a nuestro prójimo como estar en el
amor a Dios? A través de su Encarnación y Cristo de salvar de la
muerte y la resurrección, lo divino y lo humano ya no son opuestos.
De hecho, están tan entrelazados que no pueden ser separados. no
podemos verdaderamente amar a Dios si no amamos a nuestro
prójimo.
No sólo hablamos de nuestro "prójimo". Vamos a hablar de
nuestra relación, nuestros hermanos y hermanas en la familia.
Conozco a una familia, que uno de los hermanos decidieron que él no
quiere nada que ver con su otro hermano más, así que empecé una
pelea y no me gustaría arreglar la relación.
Había un proverbio que dice: "si te perdiste tus pasos, puede
arreglarlo, pero si usted derrochó de palabra, que no se puede
arreglar."Siempre tenemos que pensar dos veces antes de nuestra
acción.

Fr. Hiếu’s Message
XXIX Sunday in Ordinary Time
Jesus is tested by the Pharisees, who ask him to put the commandments of God in order of
importance. As always, Jesus offers a stunning answer. Both passages that he cites were familiar to his listeners: the first is found in Deuteronomy, the second in Leviticus. But Jesus links
them together to open up something new. The second commandment, Jesus says, is like the
first. How can loving our neighbor be in the like loving God? Through his Incarnation and
Christ's saving Death and Resurrection, the divine and the human are no longer opposites. In
fact, they are so intertwined that they cannot be separated. we cannot truly love God if we do
not love our neighbor.
Let's not only talk about our "neighbor." Let's talk about our relative, our brothers and sisters in
the family. I know a family, which one of the brothers decided that he doesn't want anything to
do with his other brother anymore, so he started a fight and wouldn't want to mend the relationship.
There was a proverb saying: "if you missed your steps, you may fix it, but if you misused of word,
you can't fix it."We always need to think twice about our action.
