OLL Hosts First Ever Alumni Reunion
On January 11, 2015, the first Alumni Reunion was held
at the school gymnasium, welcoming past Alumni and
their families to join the community in a special Mass and
reception. Attendees were able to review past yearbooks,
photos, and displays, as well as, partake in a school tour,
learn more about upcoming enrollment and leave their
mark on the OLL Alumni wall. The event welcomed over
100 Alumni, teachers and family, spanning from 1993
through 2014.
This event will help build a future for the school,
reminding Alumni of the many wonderful memories they
shared and the importance of a Catholic education.
Dads’ Club Hosts Annual Picnic
Last Sunday, our school’s “Dads’ Club” prepared and hosted our annual picnic. Students, parents,
teachers, and church parishioners gathered to enjoy excellent food and great company. There were
many activities to enjoy such as dominoes, and rock climbing and bounce houses for the children. It
was a beautiful day for our community to gather and enjoy together! Thank you to all of the dads and
volunteers who made this event possible.

Open your hand to the poor and needy neighbor in your land (Deut. 15:11; Isa. 58:6-12).
Jesus showed a preferential option for the poor. As the example of the saints has taught us,
in loving and serving the poor, we too love and serve Jesus Himself.
ABCD is our one opportunity during the year to reach out in support of all of the
people of God beyond the boundary of our parish. Through the ABCD, we follow the
example of Christ to serve our brothers and sisters here in the Archdiocese of Miami.
Jesus Christ is the common thread that binds us all. We are one.
We need you. You are making the good works of the local Church here in
south Florida possible. Together, we are making a difference and impacting the lives of
those in need. Please be as generous as possible in your response to the ABCD.

a special Mass on February 15th 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Cathedral. There will be a photo session
with Archbishop Wenski starting at 4:00 p.m. before the Mass.

member of our parish, Baptisms, Marriages, Sponsor certificates and other documents
needed from the Church will take longer to obtain and, in some cases, not possible.
