ÁLVARO PERDICES Background Álvaro Perdices was born in Madrid in 1971. He lives and works between Madrid and Los Angeles. After graduating from Universidad Complutense de Madrid’s fine arts faculty, he obtained a Master’s degree in Arts at the California State University, as well as a Master of Fine Arts at the UCLA. He has received grants and prizes such as the Public Art Prize from the University of Musashino (Japan), the Generaciones Prize from Obra Social Caja Madrid, the Skadden Foundation for the Arts grant, Matadero Madrid grant, CAM grant or ART Matters Foundation NY grant.
