Attention.
Before installing the equipment, carefully read the “SAFETY WARNINGS” contained in the package as they provide important instructions regarding the safe use, installation and maintenance of the
equipment.
Atención.
Antes de proceder a la instalación de los aparatos, lea atentamente
las “ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD” ya que suministran importantes indicaciones acerca de la seguridad durante su instalación, uso
y mantenimiento.
General Precautions
Opening the packaging
• After removing the packaging, check the condition of the unit;
• The packaging items (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, etc.) must not be
handled by children as they may be dangerous;
General prescriptions for installation
• Operate in sufficiently lighted areas that are conducive to health and use
tools, utensils and equipment that are in good working order;
• The audio/video receivers and the power supplier must not be exposed to
water splashes or seepage.
• If applicable, do not obstruct the openings or slots used for ventilation or
heat disposal;
• To avoid injury, the equipment must be secured to the wall according to
the installation instructions.
Electric connection of the devices
• The electrical system must comply with current standards in the country
of installation;
• Wires belonging tocables that are not used must beinsulated.
• Weld the joints and the ends of the wires to prevent malfunctions caused
by wire oxidation;
End of installation
• Upon completion of installation, always check that the equipment and the
system as a whole are operating correctly.
• The installer must make sure that the information for the user, where applicable, is present and is delivered;
Maintenance
• Before performing any cleaning or maintenance operation, disconnect the
power supply to the device;
• In the case of device failure or malfunction, disconnect it from the power
supply and do not tamper with it;
• Should the unit be in need of repair, contact only a technical support centre authorised by the manufacturer and always use spare parts provided by
Bpt s.p.a.;
Advertencias generales
Al abrir el empaque
• Tras haberlo sacado de su empaque, compruebe el buen estado del aparato;
• Los elementos del empaque (bolsas de plástico, poliestireno expandido,
etc.) no deben dejarse al alcance de los niños, ya que son potenciales fuentes de peligro;
Requisitos generales de instalación
• Trabaje en entornos suficientemente iluminados e idóneos para la salud, y
utilice herramientas, utensilios y equipamiento en buen estado;
• El audiointercomunicador/videointercomunicador y la fuente de alimentacion no deben estar expuestos a goteos o salpicaduras de agua.
• No obstruya las aberturas o ranuras de ventilación o evacuación de calor,
donde estén previstas;
• Para evitar daños personales, debe fijarse los aparatos a la pared de acuerdo con las instrucciones de instalación.
Conexión eléctrica de los dispositivos
• La instalación eléctrica deberá realizarse conforme a las normativas vigentes en el país de instalación;
• Es preciso aislar los conductores de los cableados no utilizados.
• Para evitar contactos accidentales, sujete con abrazaderas, por separado,
los cables de conexión a la red eléctrica y los de las señales a muy baja tensión.
• Suelde las junturas y la parte terminal de los hilos para evitar funcionamientos defectuosos causados por su oxidación;
Fin de la instalación
• Al final del proceso de instalación, compruebe el correcto funcionamiento
del aparato y de la instalación en su conjunto.;
• El instalador debe asegurarse de que la información para el usuario, donde
esté previsto, esté presente y se entregue a este.
Mantenimiento
• Antes de efectuar cualquier operación de limpieza o mantenimiento, corte
la alimentación del dispositivo;
• En caso de avería y/o funcionamiento defectuoso de un dispositivo, desconéctelo de la alimentación y no lo manipule;
• Si es necesario efectuar reparaciones, acuda únicamente a un centro de
asistencia técnica autorizado por el fabricante, y en cualquier caso utilice
siempre los refacciones suministradas por el distribuidor de Leviton.

explicitly designed.
Failure to follow the instructions provided above may compromise the
unit’s safety.
The manufacturer declines all liability for any damage as a result of
improper, incorrect or unreasonable use.
DISPOSAL
Do not litter the environment with packing material: make sure it is disposed
of according to the regulations in force in the country where the product
is used.
When the equipment reaches the end of its life cycle, take measures to ensure it is not discarded in the environment.
The equipment must be disposed of in compliance with the regulations in
force, recycling its component parts wherever possible.
Components that qualify as recyclable waste feature the relevant symbol
and the material’s abbreviation.

Los aparatos deberán destinarse únicamente al uso para el que han
sido expresamente concebidos.
El incumplimiento de las anteriores instrucciones puede poner en peligro la seguridad del aparato.
En cualquier caso, el fabricante no asumirá ninguna responsabilidad
por posibles daños derivados de usos impropios, incorrectos o irrazonables.
ELIMINACION
Comprobar que no se tire al medioambiente el material de empaque, sino
que sea eliminado conforme a las normas vigentes en el país donde se utilice el producto.
Al final del ciclo de vida del aparato evítese que éste sea tirado al medioambiente.
La eliminación del aparato debe efectuarse conforme a las normas vigentes
y privilegiando el reciclaje de sus partes componentes.
En los componentes, para los cuales está prevista la eliminación con reciclaje, se indican el símbolo y la sigla del material.

This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not
occur in a particular installation.
If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from
that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for

TV cualificado.

Fix the bracket directly to the wall (fig. 1), or in
the built-in box (fig. 2 or 3) using the provided
screws and plugs. Avoid excessive tightening of
screws on walls that are not perfectly flat.

a la caja empotrable (fig. 2 o fig. 3) utilizando los
tornillos y los tacos suministrados.
En paredes que no sean perfectamente planas,
evite apretar demasiado los tornillos.

If the cables arrive from a duct outside the wall,
run the cable through at the arrows as shown in
figure 4.
After making the connections (fig. 5), place the
audio entry control on the metal support as
shown in figure 6.

To remove the unit from the bracket use a
screwdriver in the slot (see fig. 7).
Para retirar el aparato del estribo, utilice un destornillador a través de la ranura del mueble (vea
la fig. 7).

En caso de que los cables provengan de una
canaleta externa a la pared, haga pasar el cable
según las flechas, como se indica en la figura 4.
Una vez realizadas las conexiones (fig. 5), coloque el audiointercomunicador en el soporte de
metal, como se indica en la figura 6.

JP1 Jumper (call volume control)
Default (on) position is for normal audio level. Remove JP1 to decrease the
call alert volume.
WARNING: If there are more than one handset active on the same call,
only two of them will work with high ring tone.

Quitar el puente JP1 si se desea atenuar el volumen de la nota de llamada.
ATENCIÓN. En presencia de varios audiointercomunicadores con la misma
llamada, sólo dos pueden tener alto el volumen de la nota.
JP2 (selection of intercommunicating system)
It is normally supplied inserted thus the video entry control is assigned to
group A. Remove jumper JP2 to assigned the video entry control to group
B.
JP2 (selección del grupo intercomunicador)
Normalmente se suministra conectado, por lo que el audiointercomunicador
está asignado al grupo intercomunicador A. Retire el puente JP2 si desea
configurar el audiointercomunicador con el grupo intercomunicador B.
JP3 (call selection)
It is normally supplied inserted thus the video entry control is assigned to
call 1. Remove jumper JP3 to configure the video entry control with to call
2. Make sure that the JP4 jumper in the entry panel is also removed.
JP3 (selección de la llamada)
Normalmente se suministra conectado, por lo que el audiointercomunicador
está asignado a la llamada 1. Retire el puente JP3 si desea configurar el audiointercomunicador con a la llamada 2. En este caso asegúrese de que también
el puente JP4 de la placa esté desconectado.

SW1 (Resistive load termination)
Remove the jumper if the line continues towards the other internal extensions or leave the jumper inserted in the last receiver extension.
If the audio handset extension is used, it must be connected before the
last video extension.
SW1(Resistencia de cierre de la línea de vídeo)
Retire el puente si la línea prosigue hacia otros derivados internos.
Deje el puente conectado en el último derivado de videointercomunicador.
Si se utiliza el derivado de audiointercomunicador, este deberá conectarse
antes del último placa de video.
JP1 (Selection of MASTER/SLAVE-video switch of three receivers
with simultaneous calls)
With more than one simultaneous call monitor - activated by the same call
- only one monitor can be a MASTER (JP1 jumper inserted).
Jumper JP1will have to be removed in the other monitors (SLAVE mode).
JP1 (selección MASTER/SLAVE-intercambio de imagen de tres video
intercomunicadores automáticos en llamada simultánea)
En caso de varios monitores en llamada simultánea, es decir, activados por la
misma llamada, solo un monitor podrá ser MASTER (puente JP1 conectado).
En los demás monitores será necesario retirar el puente JP1 (funcionamiento
SLAVE).
JP2 (selection of intercommunicating system)
It is normally supplied inserted thus the receiver is assigned to group A.
Remove jumper JP2 to assigned the receiver to group B.

Normalmente se suministra conectado, por lo que el videointercomunicador
está asignado al grupo intercomunicador A. Retire el puente JP2 si desea
configurar el videointercomunicador con el grupo intercomunicador B.

It is normally supplied inserted thus the receiver is assigned to call 1. Remove jumper JP3 to configure the receiver with to call 2. Make sure that the
JP4 jumper in the entry panel is also removed.

videointercomunicador con a la llamada 2. En este caso asegúrese de que
