In a couple of days, our 3rd and 4th graders will take the March 9th-15th first round of state exams. We know that tests can be stressful for our scholars, so please continue to encourage them to try their best and remind them how hard they have already worked this year. Building confidence for Eat Lunch with 3rd our scholars should translate to increased scores! If you would like to submit a question, please email Mrs. White ([email protected]). Literacy Night March 16th 5:00-6:00 What is TNReady? TNReady is the state’s new student achievement assessment in reading, writing, and math in grades 3–11 designed to assess what is being taught in Tennessee’s classrooms. Spring Break March 21st-March 25th TNReady has been developed by Tennessee educators to better assess student knowledge, as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills – in short, all the things students will need to succeed following high school. What Can Parents & Families Do to Help with Testing? Talk to your child about the importance of doing his/her best on the test. Everyone must take assessments seriously. Make sure that your child gets a good night’s sleep before testing. Be sure that your child gets a good breakfast on testing days. Hablar con su hijo/a sobre la importancia de hacer su mayor esfuerzo en el examen. Todos deben tomar los examines seriamente. Asegurar que duerman bien la noche anterior. Asegurar que su hijo/a como un buen desayuno.
