The BART Pittsburg Center Station is under construction close to your
neighborhood in the Highway 4 freeway median. When the station opens in
2017, it may become more difficult to park on your neighborhood streets.
Currently, there are no restrictions to prevent BART patrons from parking
on the streets in your neighborhood.
The City wants your input on how you would like to see on -street parking
managed when the BART station opens. Should parking permits be issued to
neighborhood residents and guests? Parking time limits (such as 4 hours
between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.) or parking restrictions (such as no parking
between 10 and 11 a.m. weekdays)? Are there other parking strategies that
should be considered?
Bring your suggestions, concerns and comments to a public meeting on
Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 7 p.m. at Pittsburg High School Cafeteria
(on School Street between Harbor St. & Somers St.). Childcare and a
Spanish translator will be available.

La estación de BART de Pittsburg está en construcción cerca de su
vecindad, sobre la Autopista 4. Cuando la estación abra en el 2017,
puede llegar a ser más difícil para los residentes estacionarse.
Actualmente no existen restricciones para evitar que usuarios de
BART se estacionen en las calles de su vecindad.
La Ciudad quiere su opinión sobre la manera de administrar el
estacionamiento en la calle cuando la estación se abra. ¿Permisos
de estacionamiento para residentes y su visita? ¿Límites de tiemp o
(como solo 4 horas entre 8am y 5pm) o restricciones (como no
estacionamiento entre 10 y 11 am)? ¿Otras estrategias?
