Altar Server Training
Formación de Monaguillos
We will hold training for any children
who would like to become altar servers on Wednesday, June 17th at
7:00 PM. To be an altar server, you
must be a baptized Catholic and
have received your First Holy Communion. We would like to encourage all boys and girls of the parish
who qualify and are interested to attend the training.
This is a good way for young people
to be involved in their parish and
strengthen their relationship with the
church. This is also a good opportunity for children who have just received their First Holy Communion
to stay active in the church.
The training will last one hour.

Llevaremos a cabo la capacitación de
todos los niños que deseen convertirse en Monaguillos el miércoles 17 de
junio a las 7:00 PM. Para ser un monaguillo, usted debe ser un católico
bautizado y haber recibido su Primera
Comunión. Nos gustaría animar a todos los niños y niñas de la parroquia
que califiquen y estén interesados en
asistir a la capacitación.
Esta es una buena manera para que
los jóvenes se involucren en su parroquia y fortalezcan su relación con la
iglesia. Esta es también una buena
oportunidad para que los niños que
acaban de recibir su Primera Comunión se mantengan activos en la iglesia.

At a meeting of the Diocesan College of
Consultors this morning, June 9, 2015,
Monsignor Colin F. Bircumshaw was elected Diocesan Administrator. The seven Consultors, chaired by Monsignor J. Terrence
Fitzgerald, senior Consultor, selected Monsignor Bircumshaw to lead the diocese until
the appointment of a new bishop is made.
As Diocesan Administrator, Monsignor
Bircumshaw will continue to have the same
authority as he had as Vicar General, according to the norms set forth by Canon
Law. He is to maintain stability within the
life of the diocese. For acts of major importance the Diocesan Administrator needs
the consent of the College of Consultors.
You are asked to keep Monsignor Bircumshaw and the Diocesan Consultors in your
prayers as we await the appointment of a
new bishop. Also let us pray that the Holy
Spirit will guide the Holy Father, Pope Francis, as he determines a new shepherd for
Utah.

En la reunión del Colegio Diocesano de Consultores de esta mañana 9 de junio de 2015, Monseñor Colin F. Bircumshaw fue elegido Administrador Diocesano. Los siete Consultores, presididos por Monseñor J. Terrence Fitzgerald, seleccionaron a Monseñor Bircumshaw para dirigir la
diócesis hasta que se haga el nombramiento de
un nuevo obispo.
Como Administrador Diocesano, Monseñor Bircumshaw seguirá teniendo la misma autoridad
que tenía como Vicario General, de acuerdo con
las normas establecidas por el Derecho Canónico. Que es mantener la estabilidad dentro de la
vida de la diócesis. Para los actos de gran importancia el Administrador Diocesano necesita
el consentimiento del Colegio de Consultores.
Se le pide que mantenga a Monseñor Bircumshaw y Consultores Diocesanos en sus oraciones mientras esperamos el nombramiento de un
