Information
The 2013 Summer Scholars / Enrichment Program is open to all District 75 students who will be enrolled in 1st grade and above for the
2013-2014 school year. Students
may be enrolled in language arts,
mathematics, or non-academic enrichment courses during the threeweek program. The program this
year will be housed at Mechanics
Grove Elementary.

The summer scholars program is
geared for struggling students
in need of additional support , as
well as students who are currently on Acceleration Plans.
Hear ye! Hear ye! Drama Camp
seeks actors and actresses from K 8th grade to be a part of this year’s
theatrical extravaganza. Join Paddy Lynn and fellow thespians in a
fun-filled, creative, and energy infused 4 week camp and become part
of the magic. We will be putting on
a wonderful play that you will definitely want your friends and family
to see. The camp runs from June 10
through June 28, on which day we
will be presenting our performance
twice, once during the school day
and again that evening. So whether
you are a “seasoned performer” or
someone who simply wants to experience this for the first time, secure
your spot in Drama Camp as soon
as possible .
*Bilingual/ELL Classes– We
are offering various programs to
meet the needs of our bilingual
student population.
*ESY Classes– This program is
designed for students with an
IEP and the extended school year
is incorporated within the students IEP
*Students being considered for
ESY or a bilingual/ELL class
will receive a separate form in

Grades 3-8
Using Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math principles, the LEGO Robotix course
will focus on using robots and computer software to solve real world
problems. Students will collaborate together and demonstrate
their critical thinking skills while
participating in fun and engaging
challenges.

Study]
This class will focus on
developing higher level thinking
skills in the area of language arts.

demonstrate their knowledge and
their love for reading.

Estamos ofreciendo variedad de
programas que alcancen las metas de nuestra población de estudiantes bilingües.
*Clases ESY– Este programa
fue diseñado para estudiantes con

a 8vo a ser parte de la extravagancia
teátrica de este año. Únete a Paddy

magia por 4 semanas llenas de diversión, creatividad, y infundidas
con energía. Pondremos una obra
maravillosa que tus padres y amigos disfrutaran. El campo es del 10
de Junio al 28 de Junio, que será el
día que presentaremos nuestra obra
dos veces, una vez durante el día
escolar y de nuevo en la tarde. So
así seas un “intérprete avezado” o
alguien que le justaría experimentar teatro por primera vez, asegura
tu lugar lo mas pronto posible en el
Campo de Drama.

Usando Ciencias, Tecnología, Ingeniería, y principios
matemáticos, el curso de Lego Robóticos se enfocan en usar robots y
sistema de computación para resolver problemas reales. Los estuantes colaboraran con si mismos y
demuestran sus habilidades del
pensamiento critico mientras participan en desafíos divertidos.
