The monthly St. Vincent de Paul collection
will take place this weekend. The society would like
to thank Valentine Dawiec and the Sandbar
Lounge for their generous donation of food for the
Thanksgiving meal held on Saturday, 22nd of
November.
Please support our fundraising efforts by
joining us for breakfast served by the members of
our Women’s Emmaus Group and a Garage Sale
from 10am to 2:30pm in the Parish hall after the
Masses today, (Sunday).

Thanksgiving Raffle held recently by the Women’s

Monday, December 8th is the feast of the
Immaculate Conception, a holyday of obligation.
Masses will take place at 8am & 5:30pm in English

to reflect upon the role of Mary in Advent, on the
occasion of the solemnity of the Immaculate
Conception, December 8th, patroness of the United
States and the Archdiocese of Miami at 7:45pm.
Oración en Acción: Correction! The visit
to the Treasure Isle Nursing Home has been
postponed to January 3rd, 2015. If we were to
visit on December 13th it wouldn’t have given us
enough time to collect and prepare the gifts for
distribution. January 3rd is the perfect day since it is
the Epiphany weekend. All groups are invited to
participate. Suggested unwrapped gifts are items for
personal hygiene, socks, blankets, stuffed animals,
cologne, etc. Please no candy or clothes. Thank
you for your consideration in making someone
happy during this very special time.

Retirement Fund for Religious December 14th. Senior Catholic sisters, brothers
and religious order priests have spent their lives
ministering to others, often for little, if any, pay.
Their sacrifices now leave their religious
communities without adequate savings for
retirements and health care. Your gift to this
collection supports the day-to-day care of roughly
35,000 senior religious, providing necessities such
as prescriptions medications and nursing care.

The Christmas Novena to the infant Child,
Jesus, will begin on Tuesday, December 16th at
7:30pm.

La Fiesta de la Inmaculada Concepción el
8 de diciembre. Las Misas a las 8:00 de la mañana

Oración en Acción: ¡Corrección! La visita
al Hogar de Ancianos ha sido aplazada al 3 de
enero de 2015. Si hubiésemos continuado con el 13
de diciembre no nos hubiera dado el tiempo
suficiente para recoger y preparar los regalos para su
distribución. El 3 de enero es el día perfecto, ha que
es el fin de semana de la Epifanía. Se invita a todos
los grupos a participar. Regalos sugeridos son
artículos para la higiene personal, calcetines,
mantas, muñecos de peluche, colonia, etc. Por favor
no dulces o ropa. Gracias por su consideración.
El libro de Misas del 2015 estará disponible
para recibir sus intenciones. La donación será de
$15.00 por intención.
Clases de Bautismo: En Inglés,
el lunes, 8 de diciembre, a las
7:00 pm en la capilla. En español,

frecuencia, con poco o ningún salario.
Sus
sacrificios ahora dejan a sus comunidades religiosas
sin ahorros suficientes para su jubilación y cuidados
geriátricos. Su donativo a la colecta anual del
Fondo para la Jubilación de Religiosos apoya el
cuidado diario de unos 35,000 religiosos ancianos
proporcionando
la
necesidades
como
medicamentos y cuidados de enfermería. Done a
