Lovran D / IT / GB / F Lovran war im Mittelalter als Stadt der Seefahrer, Fischer und Händler bekannt. Das angenehme Klima, die blühende Mittelmeervegetation und die günstige geographische Lage ermöglichten am Übergang vom XIX. auf das XX. Jahrhundert eine starke Entwicklung des Tourismus. Lovran zählt seit dieser Zeit neben Opatija zum wichtigsten Ort der berühmten Riviera. Lovran erhielt seinen Namen nach dem Lorbeer („Lovor“ auf Kroatisch), welcher prächtig im Ort und dessen Umgebung gedeiht. Già nel medio evo Lovran era conosciuta come città di marittimi, pescatori e commercianti. Il clima mite, la vegetazione lussureggiante mediterranea e la favorevole posizione geografica permisero nel passaggio dal XIX secolo, un forte sviluppo turistico. Da allora Lovran insieme ad Abbazia (Opatija) è la più importante località della famosa Riviera. Il nome di Lovranderiva dal lauro (alloro) che cresce a Lovran e nei suioi dintorni in grande quantità, mentre nell’entroterra ci sono frutteti di gustose cilliege e di famosi marroni lovranesi. A good climate, luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation and a favorable geographic location contributed to the rapid development of tourism during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Since that time, Lovran, together with Opatija, has been the most important locality on the famed Riviera. Several villas designed by the celebrated Viennese architect Carl Seidel dating from that period are part of the world architectural heritage. Lovran was named for the laurel trees (lovor) that grow everywhere in the town and in its surrounding. In the hinterland are orchards where famous Lovran cherries and chestnuts are cultivated. 1913. Son bon climat, la flore méditerranéenne luxuriante et sa situation géographique favorable ont permis un grand développement du tourisme à la transition du XIXe au XXe siècle. Depuis lors, Lovran est, avec Opatija, la station balnéaire la plus importante de la célèbre Riviera. Lovran a été dénommée d’après les lauriers (lovor), qui croissent en abondance dans la localité et à l’entour, tandis que dans l’arrièrepays ce sont les vergers des cerises et les châtaigneraies des marrons bien connus de Lovran. Kvarner Lovran verfügt über zwei städtische Strände, mehrere kleine Hotelstrände, ein Hotelhallen – und Schwimmbad mit Meereswasser. Von Lovran führt ein kleiner Küstenweg (Lungomare) mit einer Länge von 12 km nach Volosko. Auf den Hängen der Učka sind 11 Gebirgspfade eingerichtet und markiert, welche bei Vojak (1396 m) enden. Lovran wird gerne von Sportlern besucht, sei es als Wettbewerbsteilnehmer oder als Gäste. Zu ihnen zählen: Bergsteiger, Taucher, Segler, Sportangler, Tennisspieler und Fahrradfahrer (Mountainbiker). Lovran dispone di due impianti balneari, di numerose piccole spiagge degli alberghi e di piscine con acqua di mare interno o all’esterno. Da Lovran a Volosko esiste un Lungomare di 12 chilometri che offre agli ospiti, oltre al ristoro e al riposo, indimenticabili vedute del paesaggio costiero. Sulle pendici del Monte Maggiore (Učka) sono stati allestiti e contrasegnati 11 sentieri di montagna che finiscono sulla vetta Vojak (1396 m) del Monte Maggiore. Lovran offre agli ospiti ed ai visitatori una vasta gamma di attività sportive per escursionisti, vellisti, pescatori sportivi, tennisti e ciclisti (mountain bike). A twelve kilometer (12km) coastal foothpath, leading from Lovran to Volosko, provides guests breathtaking coastal panoramas. On the cliffs of Mt. Lovran is a favorite place for athletes, whether in competitions or as guests: mountain climbers, divers, yachtsmen, sports fishermen, tennis players and bicyclists (mountain bikes). Le Lungomare, cette promenade en bord de mer longue de 12 km mène de Lovran à Volosko. Les sportifs viennent volontiers à Lovran, pour participer à des compétitions ou comme touristes: randonneurs, plongeurs, pratiquants de la voile, pêcheurs sportifs, tennismen et cyclistes (vélo tout terrain). Il Parco è ricchissimo di flora e fauna e in modo particolare si distinguono le foreste secolari del castagno coltivato (il marrone), varie specie di piante medicinali e alcune specie endemiche di fiori. Ci sono sentieri di montagna curati e piste per mountain bike. The Mt. Učka Nature Park stretches inland from Lovran. The Nature Park has an area of 146 km2, and the highest peak is Vojak (1,396 m). It is very rich in flora and fauna, and is particularly distinguished by a century-old forest of cultivated chestnuts, various species of medicinal plants and several endemic species of flowers. It also has mountaineering and mountain bike paths. Dans l’arrière-pays de Lovran s’étend la région montagneuse du Parc naturel du mont Učka. Ce Parc naturel couvre une superficie de 146 km2; son sommet le plus élevé est le Vojak (1396 m). Sa flore et sa faune sont très riches; les châtaigneraies centenaires de marrons, diverses espèces de plantes médicinales et quelques espèces endémiques de fleurs se distinguent particulièrement. Des sentiers pour les randonnées pédestres et à vélo tout terrain y sont aménagés. Lovranska Draga Kvarner Die Meeresfrüchte: Fische, Krebse und Muscheln machen das Grundangebot des gastronomischen Angebots aus. Pršut, Käse, hausgemachter Wein, Feigen, usw. gelangen von den Dörfern des Lovraner Hinterlands auf die Tische der Restaurants und Kellerschenken. Das bekannteste gastronomische Ereignis ist die „Marunada“ (=Maroniade), welches im Oktober stattfindet. Im April finden das Wildspargelfestival und im Juni die Kirschentage statt. I frutti di mare: pesci, gamberi e conchiglie sono la base dell’offerta culinaria. I famosi scampi del Quarnero sono al vertice delle specialità dell’offerta gastronomicha locale. Dai villaggi dell’entroterra di Laurana arrivano sui menu dei ristoranti e delle osterie rustiche locali le specialità del luogo: il prosciutto, il formaggio, il vino del luogo, i fichi … La manifestazione gastronomica più famosa è la Marunada di ottobre. Ad aprile c’è il Festival degli asparagi selvatici e a giugno le giornate della ciliegia. Fruits of the sea - fish, crab and shellfish - constitute the basic gastronomic offerings. From an inland village, domestic specialties such as prosciutto, cheese, local wine and figs are delivered to restaurants and taverns. Les villages de l’arrière-pays de Lovran fournissent aux restaurants et “konobas” des spécialités de la région, qui figurent sur leurs cartes: jambon cru, fumé et séché (pršut), fromage, vin de pays, figues....... La fête la plus connue de la gastronomie est Marunada, en octobre. Au mois d’avril a lieu le Festival des Asperges sauvages et, en juin, Les Journées des Cerises.
